stories are great! Myandyear old love them and listen to them on the weekend at bedtime, The only problem is the way they are on the CDs as there are part stories on each, it would be nice to have complete stories on each CD so they can choose a story to listen to and listen to the whole thing.
My kids and I love the Magic Tree House books! I can't give this audio bookstars, though, because of how Random House formatted the books on CDs, Rather than giving one CD per book, thebooks are spread acrossCDs, When my kids are listening to a book at bedtime, I Myyear old loves these books, She listens to them at bedtime, she loves them so much that if I dont remember to turn them off she stays up listening until my battery dies! Great book series.
Perfect way to open historical discussions, My grandkids love listening to the author narrate the books, Magic Tree House CD Collection BooksI can't say enough about the Magic Tree House series, They combine adventure with learning, In each story Jack and Annie take a trip in the magic tree house to different places and even different My preschoolers love listening to these books! As others have said the only draw back is that the books are split between CDs, so kids or parents can't just grabCD for a given book, and some stories start partway through a CD.
That is the only drawback, Stories and You get exactly what you might expect, The author reads the books word for word, including all the 'Jack saids' and 'Annie saids', I personally find she doesn't bring a lot to the reading it's like a somewhat engaged grandmother reading, I'm a bit disappointed, as they could have had one voice for Jack, and another for Annie, and a few sound effects, and brought the stories much to life, As it is, I find them a bit bland, but the kids still like them, Obwohl meine Tochter die Bücher noch nicht so gut lesen kann, läßt sie sich die Bücher gerne vorlesen und hört die Bücher natürlich auch gern zur Unterhaltung im Auto.
Die Hörbücher ziehen auch Erwachsene in ihren Bann, Sehr gelungen und unterhaltsam für alle Altersgruppen, Toll aboder, wenn das Kind auf dem Altersniveau Englisch versteht, Auch super zur Vorbereitung auf das Lesen der Bücher vielleicht abWonderful stories, well read, Myyear old daughter loves them dearly and listens to them very often again and again, However, I didn't like thatbooks were crammed onCD's, which is not very comfortable for a child if it wants to listen to just one particular story, Otherwise it would have been! Myyear old grandson loves the Magic Tree House stories and has learned so many bits of history, geography, science, and culture from listening to these CDs.
The narration by the author is just great, very clear and dramatic, I would have givenstars, but the My,year old LOVES listening to all these stories, and its encouraged him to pretend to be Jack and write things down in a notebook, etc, The only terribly annoying thing is that the CD tracks don't keep all the stories on the same CD, and if you want to rip them to Booksof the New York Timesbestselling Magic Tree House series!

These eight titles are the perfect gift for a Magic Tree House fan or any child who loves a good adventure.
