Fetch Reluctantly His (Wolves Of East Anglia, #3) Narrated By Marisa Chenery Shown In Document
started off fairly strong but went downhill for me somewhere around chapter, All of the heroines in this series seem to be afflicted with the same malady: unbelievably bad judgment when it comes to their own personal safety.
There were also a few editing errors and while that didn't take away from the story, it did help the lower my rating.
.stars/C Jumped from the first to the third as thend installment was unable to be found.
Achei esse livro curtinho, mas valeu pena ler, Poderia ter sido melhor. Não foi o melhor da série, What Is It About:
Nika is an American that moved to England to be with her boyfriend, who then dumped her a little while after arriving in England.
She now owns a pub that was her boyfriends dream with no idea how to run it, It's at this pub that she meets Garrick, Unfortunately, she's a bit shy about getting into a relationship after her disastrous attempt so when Garrick comes on to her, she says no.
He eventually wears her down but they're threatened by the bad Fenris werewolves who will use anyone to take down Tiw's werewolves by any means.
What I Liked and Didn't:
Another case of the book being too close.
The plots of these three books are pretty similar, This one differed enough to get a two star rating but it wasn't anything special, Plotwise, the basics were the same but it was more dramatic than either of the other books, There's still an issue of the length effecting the plot there's no suspense because every event is rushed because of how short the book is.
But there is more of a build up in the relationship than the
other books, which is better and due to her reluctance to start anything.
Characterwise, Garrick was no different than Raed or Algar, I understand that they've lived together for centuries so they're going to be similar but if there were no names, I couldn't differentiate between who's who.
With Nika, while the reluctance was a good plot aspect, she gave in way too quickly even if it is werewolf mate instalove.
But that could be another thing that's rushed to suit the length of the book,
Final Thoughts:
It was still a meh read but it was better than the second book.
I'd read this originally aboutyears ago and had given it a three rating but it was so long ago that I can't remember a single thing about the series so I'm hoping that a new type of plot happens for the next book because I can't handle another american being bitten and kidnapped by the Fenris.
Would I recommend this Not even a little bit,
Will I be carrying on the series Yes because I refuse to leave the rest of the series at three star ratings when I know I won't agree with that right now.
As far as I'm concerned this was an enjoyable, if at times tiresome, story, Maybe because werewolves finding their mate has lost some of its lustre for me, or maybe because this is the third story in the Wolves of East Anglia series, but I care a bit more about the fight between Raed and his wolves versus Fenris' get.
Or Lexi's pregnancy even, It seemed to be a typical enough pregnancy with no complications so I wondered why Chenery kept drawing our attention back to it including the epilogue.
I've read some of Chenery's other werewolf romances, so I know she can handle juggling both the imminent relationship with action, but I was left feeling disappointed by this effort.
Reluctantly His is book number three in this series and just like the first two books I adored this one.
In this story we get to meet Garricks mate: Nika, Nika is an American woman who relocated to the UK to run a pub with her now ex boyfriend.
So when Garrick begins to pursue her she is nervous and wary to say the least, Add in Nathan and his werewolves and the chaos ensues,
I was pulled into this story right from the start, Nika is a strong and feisty woman who can and will stand on her own two feet, In under a year she has relocated, bought and opened a pub and lost a boyfriend yet she is still standing tall.
Garrick is a great guy who finds love and is willing to fight for it, The two make a wonderful couple, The love that the two share shines throughout the story, I really enjoyed the way that Nika deals with everything that happens to her, making her my favorite heroine so far from this series.
Watching her fight for not only her life but Garricks as well was a great read, It was nice to see her realize the love she has for Garrick and deal with all that life has thrown at her.
Once again Marisa Chenery weaves a wonderful tale full of love and magic that keeps you glued to the pages.
This author has quickly become an automatic buy for me and I cannot wait for the next book in this series.

Nika moved to Norwich, England to run a pub with her now cheating exboyfriend, Now shes on her own and has sworn off men, enter hot sexy Garrick whos found his mate and is willing to help her find that not all men are worth swearing off.
Garrick is a force to be reckoned with and he wants Nika and uses every sensual weapon in his arsenal.
Throw in some “bad” werewolves who will do anything to take out Garrick and his fellow immortal werewolves, and this is an action packed read.
This was full of sexy scenes that definitely were steamy and well written,
I highly recommend this story for fans of paranormal romance who want a fast, steamy and sexy read that is full of great strong characters.
I received a copy in exchange for my honest review, I was not compensated for my review, When Nika had emigrated from California to Norwich, England to run a pub with her then Britishborn boyfriend, she'd never expected him to leave her for another woman when the going got rough.
Now gun shy when it comes to men, she's sworn them off for a while, Until a hunky man comes to the pub one night and asks if she's on the menu, Not ready to start a new relationship, she fights her attraction for him, Garrick knows Nika is his mate when her scent stirs his wolf, Having never really cared if he found his mate or not, now that he's found her, he wants her as his.
Trying to tell her he is an immortal werewolf warrior is something he wants to put off until she gets to know him better.
But Nika forces his hand when she tells him to reveal his secrets or lose her, But telling her the truth may cause him to lose her anyway, Marisa Chenery was always a lover of books, but after reading her first historical romance novel she found herself hooked.
