A good book for elementary school students, The comic illustrations by Venezia make the book accessible to young children, Diego Rivera
./
This didn't really tell me anything I didn't already know just based off seeing the movie Frida, And I also thought that there was a lack of mention of Frida in this, But Diego's art is gorgeous and I liked getting to see some more of it, A great introduction to Diego Rivera and his work! This was pretty good for its audience, It doesn't shy away from his controversial side, There were pictures of other artists' paintings in the book too to show Cubism and other works being done around the same time as Diego was painting.
Briefly describes the life and work of the twentiethcentury Mexican painter, describing and giving examples of his art, .
