interesting themes that should lead to a good discussion in November, I hope, Usually I know why I don't like a book, but I'm finding it hard in this case, The protagonists in all these stories is basically the same guy an Americanborn FrenchCanadian, dealing with issues of identity, The stories are bereft of any lightness or humour, and the character is an unlikeable drip, A bit like Woody Allen without the humour, I slogged through the stories hoping for a gem, or at least a change of pace, but I didn't find it, Very disappointing.
