Dreamscape was a very enjoyable erotic ghost story, Dr. Jason Bowen has been haunting his childhood home since he was murdered in, He knows that he was murdered but has no idea how it was done, After receiving a large inheritance, Dr, Lanie OKeefe buys the old Bowen house, Lanie has been dreaming about the old house and the ghost since she was a young girl,
Jason starts watching Lanies every move after she moves into the house, He is attracted to and intrigued by Lanie, At first Jason just whispers naughty suggestions to Lanie in her sleep and hes somehow able to touch and caress her in all the right places.
He soon discovers that he can also insert himself into Lanies dreams, He is shocked to find that Lanie is dreaming about everything that happened leading up to his death, From their first dream meeting, the two feel a strong connection, Its as if they knew each other in theth century, But how can that be Lanie is a doctor from the present day and doesnt even know who Jason Bowen is,
During her dreams Lanie and Jason try to discover how he was killed, The mystery plays out in her dreams as well as in her real life, While renovating the old house, Jasons old housekeeper is discovered buried in the cellar and her ghost warns Jason about his murderers before departing into the afterlife.
Dreamscape captivated me and I so wanted Lanie and Jason to find some way to be together despite the fact that Jason was a ghost.
The dreamy sexcapades were sweet and full of passion, I enjoyed the architectural details and Victorian era theme throughout the novel, I also liked the twists in the story and loved the emotional connection between the characters, The ending was totally unexpected and Im still not sure how I feel about it, But this is a novel worth checking out, T he flow and details in the story kept me enthralled to the very end,
OMG what a novel!! This is one of those books that lures the reader in with its mysterious scenario of dreams and a woman who has always romanticized this wonderful houseliterally falling in love with a house as well as the gorgeous man occupying the house a century before.
Ms Anderson has crafted a story that will continually entice the imagination of the reader to move forward in the hopes of finding a way these two lovers can ultimately be together, solve the mystery of the hero's death, or find ways to recreate the gentility of the pastespecially if Lanie can find a way to be there with her dream lover.
Yet there are surprises all the way through, not to mention that the ending absolutely floored me and got me all twisted up.
. . in a good way, of course, Just an absolutely stunning story and one that all lovers of romance fiction need to read, This is not a story that should be missed, I feel it has been a true delight and privilege to read this tale, Dreamscape is one of those books that grabs you on the first page and wont let go, Lanie, the heroine is a woman with a mission, From childhood, she has been in love with a house and when she is finally able to obtain it for her very own, she finds herself the proud owner of her very own haunted house.

Lanie fell in love with the old Victorian house as a child and vowed to own it someday.
She is now the owner of the home, complete with its rumored ghost, Now she is spending her days restoring the house to its splendor with the help of friends, Her nights are filled with dreams of Dr, Jason Bowen, owner of the houseyears ago, aka the resident ghost,
Jason has been “haunting” his home since his murder and for the first time in years his senses are working again.
He can smell Lanies perfume and the feel and taste of her body tempt him beyond reason, He finds himself transported back to his former life through Lanies dreams, This time he has the pleasure of meeting Lanie and falling in love with her, while having the knowledge of his impeding murder.
If only there was a way to change the outcome of his murder through her dreams,
This was such a fun story to read, Not only was there a love story but you also got to help solve the mystery of Jasons murder and find out what was hidden in the basement.
It drew me in from the very beginning and I didnt want to put it down,
Lanie seems like such a strong person, She survived a bad childhood with the help of her adoptive parents and has gone on to be a doctor, She has purchased her dream home and is in the process of fixing it up, She falls in love with her ghost and begins to look forward to her dreams where they can be together, She is pulled into the mystery of his life through her dreams and is intrigued, She is determined to figure out what happened to him,
The restoration of the Victorian house was a nice additional to the story, The details were so vivid I could imagine the house, It was neat how Lanie used her childhood dreams of the home for furniture placement and decorations, The mystery of the basement was a great addition,
The love story between Jason and Lanie was so different from anything I have read before, I loved all the dynamics of it and how the author made it work, To me, this was fresh and new and I thoroughly enjoyed it, The ending was a big surprise I thought I had figured everything out but the last chapter wow, not what I expected.
Overall I really enjoyed this book and look forward to reading more from this author, I give DreamscapeFlaming Hearts,
Out of print This book is amazing, The story is fast, the emotion as high as the suspense, The ending will be completely unexpected, I recommend all of this author's books, Especially Dreamscape. /tostars
I'd giveto the plot and ending of this book andfor the writing prose.
The plot was creative, fascinating, and unique and the ending was extremely clever, I'm still blown away by the unexpected ending that I did not see coming, However, the overall writing prose left much to be desired,
The writing felt discombobulated which might have been intended and amateurish in its verbose paragraphing and abrupt shifting of character point of view.
At times it felt impossible to keep track of whose point of view I was reading, Also, it was jarring how often the characters would vacillate between seeming flat, dull, and onedimensional to being vibrant, intriguing, and full of depth.
Overall, Dreamscape was an entertaining book with an unique plot, plenty of sensuality, and a very clever ending.
Doctor Lanie O'Keefe has been dreaming of the old Victorian house and it's mysterious whiskey eyed occupant since she can remember, So compelling the draw, she buys the place and sets about renovations hoping to turn the carriage house into a medical clinic.
Enter Doctor Jason Bowen, a man murdered over a century before under this very roof, His ability to follow the raven haired beauty that now occupies his house both by day and through her nightly dreams is not enough.
Can he continue to touch her in the world of the living Can the two solve the 'who', 'how' and 'when' of his untimely demise
Rose Anderson weaves a masterfully crafted story richly lavish in lush description, interesting cast of characters, red herrings and spicy love scenes.
Plot twists and turns keep the pages turning, Some lengthy exposition and abruptly shifting points of view sometimes jarred, but Ms Anderson's strong writing skill and heart kept the tale fast paced and fun.
Dreamscape is an enjoyable and entertaining journey through time, the paranormal and the power of love to overcome all obstacles.

This one got off to a bit of a slow start for me.
I was initially quite bothered by Jasons spying on Lanie while she was in the bath or dressing, and I really didnt like the idea of him touching her in her sleep, and so it was hard for me to really get into the story at first.
However, things started to pick up quite a bit once Jason was pulled into one of Lanies dreams, and as they grew closer, the earlier misstep of his voyeurism became much less important to my overall enjoyment of the story.
Overall, this both a very tasty and fascinating read, The duel perspectives that stemmed from the fact that this story was both historical and contemporary, without being a true “time travel” romance, really made me feel as though this story got the best of both genres, and the murder mystery only drew me in further.
The romance between Lanie and Jason was sweet, and the sensuality was absolutely delicious, adding a delightful level of eroticism without overshadowing the love story.
I admit that I did tend to appreciate Lanies dreams more than her waking hours, simply because it was fascinating to see Jason not only “reliving” the weeks before his death, but actually changing things and helping to solve the mystery that surrounded the entire murder plot.
A very delicious and intriguing/Stars
Let me begin that I love Siren Publishing and am a huge fan of everything I have read since I discovered them.
I am good friends with a few of their authors, so I was especially excited about this book,
This was a beautifully written, very detailed love story of two lost souls, Though Lanie was well educated, well loved, smart and determined young woman, but she was still lost, Or that's how I saw her, And with Jason being an actual lost soul, stuck on this plane waiting to go to the other side, it was inevitable that they would be drawn together.
Which explained Lanie's fascination with the Bowen house,
I really enjoyed this book until the last chapter, The ending was good, but I think I was hoping for more or something different, When I thought the story was going to zig it zagged, I felt a little disappointed and confused with the conclusion of the story, The story was so unique and fun that I hoping it would end that way, It didn't end bad, not at all, but it didn't have a 'wow' factor, And the last chapter confused with how it all came to be, Thinking back, maybe if the last chapter were to be reorganized I think it would flow just that much more,
