has outdone herself with A Forfeit Owed, The Eldritch series is fabulous and I have tremendously enjoyed each installment, but I have to say that A Forfeit Owed is officially my favorite book in the series.
The story has great characters, fantastic imagery and an interesting plot, but what makes it shine is the deep emotion, What a ride! My heart and soul were engaged from the start and my mind is with Darius and Trystan even as I write this note.
A Forfeit Owed is the perfect fix for those of us addicted to angsty love, A must read!

PS: While A Forfeit Owed makes an awesome stand alone story, it is even better in the context of the series.
This story, based in part on both Cinderella and Snow White, was sweet, However, ultimately, it simply did not engage my emotions or satisfy my desire for a HEA fairy tale ending, Two brothers with very different personalities, and a good deal of sibling rivalry, vie for the hand of the lovely Korrine, Darius the elder and heir to the throne is the brawny brothers and Tristan the youngest of the three Eldritch siblings is

broody and jealous.
None of the characters were particularly interesting, all basically the archetypes found in fairy tales, I had hoped for something more,

A Forfeit Owed was the second book in a series and perhaps reading the first book would have made it easier to understand the background story of magic and evil curses.
However, I'm not particularly interested in reading the other books in the series, so I'll never know if that might have helped, As the daughter of a disowned noble, Korinne has few options, Forced to wait on her cousins hand and foot, she wishes fairy godmothers were more than the stuff of childhood tales,

Christ on a cracker, I loved this book, I'm usually freaked out by the idea of two love interests, I hate love triangles and one dick is plenty for me, but Strauss handled the princes very well, She also sets it up for more books in the series, Part Cinderella, part Snow White, part kink, this story totally sucked me in, Light, fun and very sexy! Fascinating! I found this marvellous Eldritch's world story fresh and full of joy, It has really fun scenes and a touch of fairytale magic I love, As a Katrina Strauss's fan can't I be more pleased, Even thought the story is part of a serie, reading all the books is not a requirement to enjoy this one, even though it will open your appetite for knowing more about the Eldritchs and their intriguer past and future.
