wouldn't advise this book for anyone who is studying a creative writing course or has written a lot in general, This reads like a beginners guide to fiction which could be helpful for someone who has only just got into writing and wants to test children / young adult fiction genres.
A useful book with lots of gently given advice which is broken down into helpful chapters, It covers a lot of information and also has several handy lists at the back, I found this book really helpful, It's well laid out, easy to read and practical, It's a good little reference book as well with some useful websites and also references to alternative words for different colours or even if you wanted to know when different kings and queens reigned.

should go ahead and write it.
