Take Shifting In The RealmsThe Twin Cities Series Translated By Theresa Snyder Depicted In Digital Copy
Realms refers to a parallel dimension hidden between Minneapolis and St, Paul where creatures human's think of as only mythical roam free,
Cody is a shape shift with some monumental problems that all started when he died, Hes escaped to The Realms from the midlands between Heaven and Hell only to find his best friend is potential food for the resident vampires, his girlfriend only loves him in his wolf form and her motherwell thats a whole other story.
It isnt easy being Cody, but like a good wolf hell do what he can to protect his pack even if it kills him, Waithes already dead. Cody is a shape shifter, a wolf to be exact, he's also dead , sort of, He's stuck beingforever and since he's technically dead he's hiding in the Realm, His dad told him shape shifters don't go to Heaven so he "beat feet" as he puts it from the Midlands, the place dead people wait for their judgement, He's made it to the Realm where he's safe for now and meets a girl, Now go grab it to find out more you won't be disappointed, This is a sweet story with vamps, fire demons, and lots of other paranormal creatures so what's not to love, Perfect for theand over crowd,
Independent reviewer for Romance Authors That Rock, I bought this book to read on the airplane, I like to pick up novellas as I can finish them before I land and not be caught in that 'I want to read and can't trap, ' I was pleasantly surprised by this paranormal, coming of age story,
It has elements of sweetness in it along with the obvious angst of teenage dating and a first crush, At the same time, that story is woven into a new element of paranormal settings, The Realms was a unique take on settings in this genre and I absolutely loved it,
The main protagonist is believable in both wolf and human form, The rule of the vampires is exactly how I imagine life would be for humans if vampires ran the show,
Why this book is not higher on the rankings is beyond me, If you are looking for something new or an easy read, you should definitely check this novella out, I really enjoyed this quick read and can't wait to read more from this author, I thought this take on the supernatural was completely engrossing and I'll be excited to read the rest of this particular series! I thoroughly enjoyed this novella, which introduces the reader to The Realms, a sharedworld project.
It was a fast and fun read, with a main character I'd be interested to see more of in the future, The world seems to offer lots of possibilities for future storiesas does a shapeshifter who also seems to be dead Free this month, so why not give it a try Recommended if you like YA protagonists, shapeshifting, fantasy in general.
Such a great read for a novella, I love Cody's character, so loyal and gawky, The firedemon is by far the most interesting supporting character and I would love to read her POV, A light quick read, Shifting Realms is a nice taster of what could be within the Twin Cities Series, Cody is a werewolf but not like you see in the movies, Here's the thing, he knows he's a werewolf but when you die in the real world, you can end up in the Realms,
Cody ends up here because of an impulsive reaction to a heinous crime, The ideas within the Realms and the concepts have vampires, werewolves and even fire demons, which definitely leaves you wanting more,
The concept is there and the possibilities are endless, but this short read, although satisfying, left me wanting a lot more, Cody is likable, the concepts and perspectives are unique, and I can't help but wonder how this would read with an extrapages, Snyder knows how to bring a great idea forth and the first person perspective works well to describe the world in the terms of a werewolf,
This is the second book I've read by Snyder and I'm working on my third, Quick refreshing reads so far and leave a reader wanting more, so here's to much more from her, Scroll down for the English version,
Deliziosa novella paranormale
Adorable paranormal novella
Cody is a shapeshifter who lives in a parallel dimension called "The Realms" where next to humans are paranormal creatures of all kinds.
He ended up there after dying in the real world and it is forever doomed to have the appearance of a teenager, except when he turns into a wolf, His nonlife undergoes a drastic change when he meets and falls in love with Simone, but she does not know his secret,
Delightful platonic love story aimed at young audiences but enjoyable for readers of all ages who have not stopped dreaming, Theresa Snyder has an amazing ability to speak to the heart of the reader and involve them in any story she writes, regardless of the genre,
I do not often read paranormal stories, but have always been attracted to the gothic genre and seeing it presented in this soft guise particularly amused me,
Shifting in the Realms by Theresa Snyder is another offbeat adventure fantasy story that not only incorporates fantasy elements, but horror ones as well, I was pleasantly surprised at how good this story is and how kismet fated it to get into my hands one night, I had tweeted about posting reviews and Theresa Snyder must have gotten some kind of notification over a hashtag, She asked if I could review her book, and my initial reaction was a no, I have so many books already, I'm overcommitted, She told me that her books were short reads, that I could probably read both and review all in one night, She was right. The book involves an alternate reality that is between life and death, day and night, good and bad, Cody is a walkingdead werewolf in a realm where monsters, and all sorts of fae exist, There is conflict, magic, and terror, The audience is more YA, Thepages or so are sufficient to whet my appetite get me intrigued, but I totally wouldn't have minded anotherpages, This book was reviewed for Online Book Club
Snyder's Shifting in the Realms is one of the Twin Cities Series, a collection of novellas written by different authors.
This one focuses on Cody, a wolf shifter who fled to the Realms after dying, and who has since taken up working for Raven, a powerful vampire,
Cody is introduced to the beautiful Simone when his friend Pete brings him along for a double date, The two do not hit it off as humans, but later Simone sees Cody in his wolf form, and he saves her from the predations of a particularly nasty vampire.
The next day, after Pete and Cody finish their work, this same vampire attacks and enslaves Pete, To save his friend, Cody finds help in the most unlikely of places,
This was a quick read, I enjoyed the story, though I did at times feel like I was missing something, more of a larger story, I cannot quite say why, because everything necessary to the story is explained, Part is certainly because Id like to find out what happens after! Another oncethrough for editing wouldn't be amiss, There were a few places where the writing could be strengthened,
Such a great, quick fantasy read! Cody is my favorite, not only because hes the main character, but because he is sensitive, insecure, and strong all at the same time.
Oh, and I love when he turns into an adorable, protective wolf!

sitelink com/ This is a short read, but as part of a series, that is understandable, Welcome to the Realms, a supernatural place where Cody is just trying to stay alive, or rather maintain who he is, he actually died before, I think readers of shape shifting, supernatural beings and even romance will find this book intriguing and may want to check out the series to see what else is happening in this strange world.
Larry's take
Another great read from Theresa, The mixing of human and monsters is well done, It's a lot of fun to read, I'm looking forward to the next book, Must also keep in mind that her books are for "young adults" as well as adults, A sweet little story
I enjoyed this quick read, it kind of makes me want to draw a fire demon, haven't read supernatural stories for a while so it was a nice little dive back into the genre,
Over the last few months, I guess Ive changed my reading habits or choices normally I would NEVER read vampires, shift changers novels but, I enjoyed this one! It felt good to know that someone could undo Vampires and change them into dust never to return again! The whole story was well written and well plotted will look for more by this author!
This book, which I received for free in exchange for an honest review from Story Cartel, was very obviously selfpublished in the sense that there was no professional editing either copy editing or story editing.
The writing was childish I actually had to look up the author to confirm that she was an adult, the story was choppy and hard to follow, and there was a personal pet peeve of mine a rape in the first third of the story.
There are literally thousands of ways a young inexperienced wolf shifter could accidentally get killed while killing someone else, Rape revenge killing does not have to be that reason,
AHEM regardless of the rape, I was unable to get very far into the story due to
the poor quality of the writing, After checking out the author's blog, I found that this writing style which does not mesh well with the style I prefer to read was not anomalous,
The number ofandstar ratings here and on Amazon are rather astounding, and I can only assume that they are from a the author and/or her friends, b people who feel that receiving a free copy means they have to say nice things, or c people who thought that Twilight was deserving of the Nobel Prize for Literature.
I actually really hate giving one star reviews, and only do so on Goodreads when I was unable to finish the book, I'll send with this book definitely NOT being my cup of tea and wishing the author best of luck in the future, Theresa Snyder is a multi genre writer with an internationally read blog, She grew up on a diet of BW Scifi films like Forbidden Planet and The Day the Earth Stood Still, She is a voracious reader and her character driven writing is influenced by the early works of Anne McCaffrey, Ray Bradbury, Robert Heinlein and L, Ron Hubbard.
