cheesy Too much lesbian U hauling Unrealistic elements Boring characters Some nice banter but that's about the only thing positive I can say about the story Tried but couldn't finish it Gave it up after having readof it Can't even be bothered to write a real review with real sentences for this one I rather enjoyed this one surprised me how much I did Though for a while there I wanted to reach into the book and sueeze Ria's neck a little you know just a little Maggie the kid Ellie the rockstar and Ria the annoyingly heartbreaking esue mother of Maggie were all lovely characters A few of the side characters were uite interesting as well There were one orerrors here and there I do not normally notice or care but there was at least once that I got briefly pulled out of the story because of it it was a scene where one of the characters were talking and they said something to the other and the wrong name was used their own instead of the other person's name Wasn't an error per se but another tiny bit of annoyance was the text messages In and of itself they worked it was just the part wherein I didn't always know which text were by which sender Didn't help that that part was all in italics and at times 'mushed' together in a vaguely hard to read wayOverall though an enjoyable and readable book One last thought I just read a book that was aboutpages out oferoticism so the relatively low key graphic nature of this book was meet by me in a way that might not be similar to someone coming to this book without that filter um prior read something Okay my point is that some might or might not be annoyed by the relatively low key graphic nature of the book I found it down right pleasant or something like thatSeptemberAny book that keeps me reading until the wee hours of the morning only getting two hours of sleep before having to get up for work is worthy of a decent rating review I'm not saying that this book is perfect it's far from it There are editing issues and the 'hot and cold back and forth' relationship drove me up the wall at times but overall is was a lovely sweet read On a side note Maggie's personality shone from the pages and I'd really love to read a seuel featuring her all grown up as a successful rocktars The beginning of the book is very good but it went downhill at aroundmark I can't seem to like Ria as a character much less liking her as a potential love partner for the protagonist There's no chemistry nor any spark between the main couple I'm really glad the author noticed Ria's flaws in the story but she barely did anything to fix that The worst part is when I actually rooted Ellie to be with another woman instead of Ria Imagine someone did everything wrong as your lover after a while they said sorry they noticed their mistakes they regretted their decisions etc then you and that person got back together as a happily ever after couple The End This is that kind of story Ellie did so much for Ria but we didn't really see much of Ria's love in return That's one of the main reason why I couldn't get into this book I'm pretty sure that the dialogues in this story took than half of the book editing skill also need improvement not a deal breaker for me too much random time skippings and the side characters are like cardboard boxes most of them view spoilerSo what happened to Gwen I'm guessing Robert is out of the picture Jenny is also gone bye bye Dina was so sure that Ria is a bad lover she also joked about killing Ria but then she dragged Ria back simply because of how miserable Ellie is wtfEverything resolved way too uickly and random that I have a hard time finish the book This one just wasn't for me hide spoiler DNF I got throughof the book but I can't take Ria any She's too much of a contradiction and at this point I just hate her character More in the spoiler tags view spoilerWhere to begin Doyears old accomplished surgeons text LOL that often A lot of the time she seems to be a teenager both by her texting and speaking habits as well as her massive lack of confidence which contradicts her being a surgeon People in medical field usually are confident they have to beShe says she cares about Maggie so much but lets Gwen move in after just two months in a new relationship Why She even mentioned Gwen not having a relationship with Maggie who has special needs I just can't wrap my head around how this could happen besides author forcing drama for the sake of drama Then Ria mentions hating cheaters yet she intentionally flirts and basically emotionally cheats with Ellie while being in a relationship with Gwen Better yet Gwen is in the next room sleeping while she flirts with Ellie And she hates cheaters OkAnd then Ria escalates her relationship with Ellie but pulls back at each obstacle She basically strings Ellie along Maggie again is used as an excuse yet it was fine moving in with basically a stranger after just two months in a relationship she wasn't worried about Magie then And Ria never shows any love towards Ellie she falls into Ellie's bed only after she gets to know about her celeb status and all she talks about is physical attraction Ellie is giving her all while Ria commits nothingSo to summarize Ria put her special needs daughter in danger allowing a stranger to move in while being attracted to Ellie yet never expressing that And when ard party reveals Ellie's feeling to Ria she strings along Ellie who genuinely loves her and her daughter Of course there are legitimate concerns about being in relationship with a celebrity but Ria never talks about problems she runs away at any and all obstacles and shuts Ellie out As if problems are solved by ignoring calls and texts If it's not a toxic relationship it's damn well near itrant hide spoiler Really enjoyed this one and couldn't put it down The sex scenes all fade to black but if you really needwant an explicit scene between Ria and Ellie there's a one in her short story collection Surpassing although I recommend the two stories with these characters anyway because they are lovely It's not a perfect book but it hit all the right buttons for me so I ended up buying it despite starting out by borrowing it from Kindle Unlimited I will definitely read this one again Truly an enjoyable read If you enjoyed Popcorn Love and Flight SAyou will love this book too Even though Love's Autograph is different in ways it has that same sense of fun and uirkiness of the books I mentioned Have fun with the characters and enjoy This was a okay book but a terrible romance Ellie was mistaken as a babysitter by her date Ria and instead of correcting her she just kept babysitting and falling in love with Ria while Ria goes out on dates with other people She even led Ria to believe that she has a girlfriend Why just why Ellie wasn't just stuck in friend zone she intentionally locked the door and barricaded the windowsAnother thing that bothered me was we were kept completely in the dark with regards to Ria's feelings for Ellie The little clues that let us know that the love interest is actually interested in the MC were absent here The relationship was pretty lopsided Ria just strung Ellie along even though she was in a relationship and knew how Ellie felt Ria decided to take a break with Gwen because Gwen was terrible not because of Ellie's love confession meant anything or the fact that Gwen disliked her kid So not only a great girlfriend Ria was mother of the year too “But funny because you didn't kiss me until you knew I was EJ”This just solidified my belief that Ria didn't feel as much for Ellie I know the author didn't intend it as such but Ria being with Ellie seemed to be because of her daughter mostly She never wanted to compromise and ran away from Ellie over every little thing I have never disliked a love interest this much before Ellie deserved much better since she is basically a saint This romance did not scream soulmate or true love to me So I probably wouldn't have finished this book if I didn't
