Snag An Occasion To Sin By Eliza Lloyd Accessible In Publication
book had a bit more substance than your average romance, There is no way to capture the book in a nutshell but I'll try, Lady V is married to a monster with step daughters almost her age, Her husband violently beats her, She strays one time, the ass dies and in steps the solicitor, He is likeable but sees the world very black and white although he is a product of the grey reality of life, lots of twists and turns in the story, Was it believable, meh. Although my own romance wasn't very believable either and it's real life, so why not Sometimes the hero doesn't say and do all the right things and you love them anyway and end
up happy.
Was it entertaining Certainly. I couldn't put the book down and would love to read more about the daughters, An Occasion To Sin is the first in a new series titled Curse of the Weatherby Ball, Loved it
I love all of Eliza Lloyds books and this one is only proof of why, She is awesome and her books are so enjoyable, you can't put them Dow, I really can't wait to see what is coming out next, Thank you Eliza Very good book
I really enjoyed reading this book, although, a good editer should have been employed prior to publishing, The typos are distracting at times, very frustrating for the reader, That said, the plot is great! Loved the storyline, fresh, sensual, funny, sad, interesting and loved the mystery, The characters, both primary and secondary, are well defined and interesting, I plan to read more by this author in future, Definitely highly recommend. On the night of the Weatherby Ball, a bad decision results in a passionate, anonymous encounter for Victoria Sloane, The ball has a reputation for being cursed, Had she stumbled into the trap Within days, her secret rendezvous is exposed, her husband is dead and she is carrying the child of an unknown suitor,
Joseph SmytheWellesley is left to clean up the messy affairs of the Earl of Doncaster, Joseph has put the night of strange, illicit passion behind him, He would never see the lovely creature againwhoever she was, The earls wife is difficult to understand and she is determined to protect the heritage of her unborn child, A child she claims is the next earl, Joseph has his doubts. He is also attracted to the strong willed and strangely vulnerable Victoria,
Some might say the death of her husband was a blessing not a curse, but that event is the least of her problems especially once she realizes she shares a secret with the honorable and determined solicitor.
Hi everyone. Here's my bio but I moved to first person it's not like I didn't write it! LOL I think romance writing is nearly as good as the real thing.
Given my choice of professions, I would have preferred to be ath century archeologist, but I am perfectly happy living in thest century and comfortably writing about such romantic but inconceivably inconvenient times instead.
Just thinking about being a woman two hundred years ago makes me cringe,
I love traveling, movies, everyone elses novels and a good meal out with friends on Saturday night, My greatest flaw is that I believe there is such a thing as true love, Dont tell me otherwise please. Maybe that's really why I write to begin with,
Would love to hear about your recommendations for new historical romance writers,
