I so wanted to give this book more, . . the book is a creative approach to a classic sci fi theme, At issue were the mechanics of the story, . . too much time spent on mundane character back story that had little relationship to the story, . . to little back story for the protagonists, . . the invaders. Realism needs some work. It is an ok read but I wanted more, . . I wanted protocols followed. I wanted connections made.
