Read For Free The Boy In The Bookshop: A Short Story (The Meet Cute) Drafted By Katey Lovell Distributed As Publication Copy

truly gorgeous lil treat, I fancied reading but I didn't want anything heavy after a crazy day so I delved into this, I was meant to read this when I was taking part of a readathon that didn't end well, So tonight I devoured this and I'm totally in love with every aspect of this short and sweet treat talk about a book works ideal love story.
Have written some thoughts on Amazon which I should do more of, I knew this was going to be a quick story but wasn't sure how it would work, I needn't have been concerned, within a few words I was drawn into the ideal setting of a bookshop, beautifully described I could almost smell amp feel the books! Add in a cute boy who makes the girls heart flutter amp you have the recipe for a fab read.
Pop the kettle on amp lose your self for a few minutes in this perfect world, I cant wait for the next in the series, I would like to thank author Katey Lovell for sending me a copy of this book in exchange for a fair and honest review.

I loved the idea of this series from the off, the meet cute idea is fantastic, Katey really drags you into the story within a few lines and her descriptions are so vivid,

The fact that the first one is set in a bookshop really piqued my interested and Katey didn't let me down.
I really liked both characters and wanted to know how this meet cute would go, Jade the main female character is really lovely and sweet natured,

If you want a very quick coffee break read then this is for your as it will only take five minutes but is covers everything and missed out nothing.
I hope at some point Katey decides to go back and revisit the characters perhaps tell us how they get on in a longer version of the story.
"I'm sorry I wrote you a long letter, I didn't have time to write you a short one" is a quote attributed to both Blaise Pascal and Samuel Johnson.
Regardless of who said it, I get the meaning, It is HARD to be succinct and economical when writing, Katey Lovell does a marvelous job of offering up art in a tiny bite with the romantic short "The Boy in the Bookshop.
"

I have read all three of her current pieces from "The Meet Cute Series," and am left wanting more,

The Boy in the Bookshop grabbed me because of how well she draws Marwan, the love interest, in such a short amount of time.
I don't want to say much because almost anything I say will be a spoiler, The world of the bookshop, the allure of the boy's looks, and the instant relationship drew me in and put me right in Jade's shoes, feeling all the excitement of "the moment when it's about to happen," which is the hallmark of New Adult literature.

This little amusebouche of a story is interesting in that I'm perfectly satisfied, but I could do with more, It has all the flavors, and layers of a fully fledged story, I could stop here. That said, if Lovell wanted to expand this into a booklength piece, I'd happily read it, Recommended. The Boy in the Bookshop is the first in a new series of short stories, I dont normally buy single short stories but I just couldnt resist giving this one a try Im utterly powerless to resist a book or short story set in a book shop and Im so glad I picked this up, its gorgeous!

This is a very short read and is absolutely perfect for a coffee break.
Katey has packed so much into this story, its wonderful, The Beautiful Books bookshop sounds amazing and I really want to go there, Jade works in the book shop, and the cute boy is a customer its very succinctly written with all the detail you need to fall in love with the characters and the story itself.
Youre left with such a warm, fuzzy feeling by the end of the story!

This is such a fabulous meet cute, I love Kateys writing style and I cant wait to read more by her.
In fact, Ive just been to Amazon and bought the second one in the series, and preordered the third! Im hooked on these Meet Cute books!

I rate thisout of.

The Boy in the Bookshop is out now and available from Amazon, such a great read as I'm a big fan of meet cutes, And seriously what is better than a guy who's into books, Really really lovely. The length really appealed as I got to sit down and fly through it so quickly and yet enjoyed so much and was so satisfied after.
A beautiful, heartwarming story with some great descriptions for those of us that adore all things bookish, Loved 'the boy' and found the chemistry between them so nicethere is no other word, there was so much aww in this story.
Their interactions, and in particular the chat regarding their interests was so enjoyable, Light and easygoing. Definitely recommended!
Rating./Jade has a Saturday job in a bookshop and there she meets an intriguing customer, A boy who immediately catches her eye, . .

The Boy in the Bookshop is a short story, perfect for waiting room reading, for with a cup of coffee in the morning, for when you need cheering up, for breakfast reading before you go to work, for when your train is late, etc.
I love Katey Lovell's writing style, She enchants her readers with her wonderful words, For me it's like she's giving them a dream, something to think about all day long, I love the setting and the story is really good, It was great to take a look into Katey Lovell's world,

I love Katey Lovell's idea to write short and sweet stories, They will brighten people's moods, Her stories are great for bedtime reading and for a good start of the day, I hope she will write many more as I already have a craving for the next one, Try this heartwarming romantic story, you will love it, This was an adorable, satisfying short story, just as cute as fans of this series will have come to expect, and the perfect length for my morning commute.

long the ideal coffee break read and its such a sweet story, it left me with a big smile on my face.
We get a quick insight into both main characters but it is enough, enough to make me feel for their story, I really liked Jade, the bookshop employee who we get to hear from in first person throughout, She was shy and sweetnatured, a really lovely main character,

Katey covered all the details I wanted to know and so I didnt feel like anything was lacking, I enjoyed getting to know a bit about each character and I connected with them both easily, In turn, my focus was well and truly on the actual meetcute, which was utterly adorable and romantic, Im looking forward to the rest of the series!
