Acquire Today Assassins Love People Too (Assassins In Love #2) Formulated By S.C. Wynne Disseminated As Paperbound

book starts right where the first left off, The danger is real, and Dillon has to rely on himself to get to Marc and safety, I liked how they evaded their enemies while each struggling with feeling insecure and inadequate, Who knew assassins could be shy Marc at times was sweet and a bit thick where feelings were concerned, Dillon was a bit better at it considering how patient he had to be with Marc, Oh, exlover and jealousy! That was highly amusing, But it was hard to be mad when Marc was clueless himself about the aforementioned lover!

The book was fastpaced, slightly suspenseful and hilarious in a sense that assassins here talked so much, it was a wonder they got anything done! But this was an entertaining read nonetheless.
The ending was a bit of a cliffhanger, but it made me even more curious about what is going to happen next, Assassins love people too was beautiful intense and incredible

Being back in marc and Dillon's world was such a wonderful place to revisit i loved every word and following their adventures so much

Watching marc and Dillon's relationship build more was emotional but a incredible experience

In this next chapter you get heartbreaking but also heartwarming moments every word is meaningfull moving powerful and beautiful has you hooked and not wanting to put the book down

You also get alot of action that has you on the edge of your seat and wondering what is going to happen next sitelink can be read at It's About The Book

The last book ended on a wicked little cliffhanger so I was looking forward to getting this one, Just like the first one it was suspenseful and sexy, This novella was also pretty angsty, In book one the guys fall hard and leave everything behind to take their chance at being together, Book two is them on the run from Julio, the baddie from book one who wants Marc dead,

I liked all of the inner turmoil from the POVs of both MCs, Dillon is understandably scared and way out of his element, Normal people do not think everyone is out to kill them, But thats the reality hes found himself in, Marc is still working so hes alone a lot, Dillon cant help but question if hes more to Marc than just a lover since Marc is so closed off emotionally, Marc never wanted to fall for someone, Saying the words out loud prove harder than most of his jobs, In his profession its dangerous to have a weakness like caring for someone, He knows Dillon is the one way someone can get to him, Marc is also struggling with the prospect of retiring and being a “normal” person with a boyfriend for the first time ever in his life, Hes afraid Dillon wont find him exciting anymore if hes not an assassin, Its a lot for a new relationship to withstand, Plus the whole people constantly trying to kill them thing is a problem,

I do have to say this book was fairly predictable, Thats not really a bad thing since we all saw this coming, It pretty much had to for the guys to move on, Dillon was frustrating in this book but again its not really his fault hes a friendly guy who trusts people, AGAIN the ending was pretty brutal with a cliffhanger, Bookset up a new love story in the making that Im looking forward to reading more about, It also brings Marc and Dillon right back into danger, These boys just cant seem to stay out of trouble, Lucky for me I like reading about it!
I enjoyed this installment of the series, despite the characters making a whole lot of questionable decisions, I'm not sure how Dillon reached adulthood with his decisionmaking abilities, really, or how Marc managed to be a successful assassin, Then again, Marc does say more than once that he felt he was slipping and definitely in need of retirement, Dillon is a conundrum I often felt like he was just desperate to escape his life, but I don't' really understand exactly why, Sometimes the back and forth between the two characters, as they questioned whether or not the other really wanted to be with them for the long haul might've seemed like overkill, but then again, one could see some validity to their uncertainty.

The suspense was high throughout, I would've finished it in one sitting if I'd not needed to go to bed like a responsible adult, Assassins in Love
This is the sequel to, "sitelinkAssassins are People Too" and is even better than its predecessor! sitelinkS, C. Wynne has grown as a writer, just from the first book in this series to this one, sitelinkAssassins Love People Too has a lot more depth and description than the first and the POV changes are easier to follow, Keep up the good writing and I am looking forward to even more depth and description in the third book in the series

I WAS GIVEN THIS BOOK, BY THE AUTHOR, IN RETURN FOR AN HONEST REVIEW
ed for Divine Magazine

For me, this one suffered the curse of Book.
It happens every time with me, Bookis so incredible that I'm giddy and barely able to vocalise what I loved about the story, Then Bookcomes along and something is lost in translation, Thankfully, this one wasn't TOO lost, It was a minor issue that I can easily overlook, to come back and happily delve into the next book in the series and, hopefully, the next one after that.

The characters were just as great, They keep their old personalities and quirks, while having time to explore more of their new ones, The story and plot line was well developed and paced, too, which was great, I never felt rushed or that the story stagnated anywhere, Both books in this series are the perfect length required to tell the story properly, All too often, with action/adventure stories, Assassins Love People Too's plots try too hard to out do the last book, Wynne did a brilliant job of making sure that didn't happen, It wasn't necessary. These characters and their stories are strong enough to stand on their own two feet, without exaggerating the plot or making it ridiculous, with too much action or not enough.

As for editing, there were less issues than book, which was great, One or two missing quotation marks and nothing else, as far as I noticed,

What made the book lacking, for me, was the constant bickering between Marc and Dillon, It was all repeating the same conversations over and over again, Though their fears made sense, it got a little repetitive to keep reading the same arguments in new words, in new places, That's when I lost interest and it took me a few pages to really pick back up again, So, due to how often that happened, I was being nudged out of the story by the argument, then had to ease my way back in again about a dozen times.

I get that Marc is an assassin and he doesn't open up, but it irritates me the way he uses that as an excuse to not be completely honest.
Dillon has placed his whole trust in him and Marc can't do the same, He hasn't even revealed his real name to him, which I'm not happy about, At the same time, they haven't known each other long, so it makes a little bit of sense to be hesitant, But the repetition of that got in the way of what else was going on between them, There were some really amazing “moments” where Dillon gave up the fight and placed his heart, soul and trust into Marc, with no reason to except that he loved the man.
It made me sad that Marc couldn't return even a sliver of that trust,

For that reason the repetition I removed one star, It was the disconnects that made reading this one, at onlypages, take longer than book, which had aboutpages more, Without that, I would probably be as speechless as with book, because I really do love these characters and their quirks,

I loved the new additions, Leo, Gianni and Ronan, They were all great in their own way, I even liked meeting crazy Julio,

There were still funny, hot, intense moments, I even liked when Dillon got drunk and said all the wrong things at the wrong time, because he was sticking up for himself with the same spunk and fire that I'd loved in him in book.

Overall, I can't wait for the next book, It will be nice to see Ronan and Gianni again, but I really hope all the focus is still on Marc and Dillon, Those two guys have some serious issues to work on,

Favourite Quote

“He had no idea the power he had over me, I was wrapped like silk thread around his perfect fingers, and he had no clue, ”

““It's not easy for me to talk about, . . my feelings. ” My voice was stiff, and I wanted to be able to say stuff without it seeming like I was being tortured, ” .stars

Very enjoyeable, fast paced, but sometimes Dillon's insecurity drove me nuts, I'd certainly read Ronin's book if it became available, Action packed, terrific characters and an compelling storyline creates a great read,

I really loved the twists and turns of the story and the dual POV presentation i really like, There are some interesting new supporting characters and we find some resolution and new issues come to play,

Marc and Dillon are steamy, sweet, clueless sometimes but great characters,   The plot has me hooked, . . i am excited to see how this story plays out,

This is book two of the Assassins in Love series and it must be read as part of a series,   It is a continuation of the first book and not a standalone story, This book does end on a cliffhanger and i am looking forward to reading the next book when it comes out in November of this year,

I was gifted this book from the author and i freely give my honest opinion and review,       Yes! Yes! Yes! I love me some assassins,

Assassins Love People Too is book two, You should read Assassins Are People Too to understand what is going on as book two starts off right were bookended,

Marc and Dillon are impossible characters not to like, They are funny and sarcastic, even when they are still running for their lives, Not only are there other assassins trying to kill them, lets throw in exboyfriends in the mix that is also an assassin and see how Marc and Dillon handle that.

It was another fun read full of suspense and adventure, Can't wait for book three to see how this will end,

I received an ARC of this book and voluntarily leave my review, What a great sequel! The action starts right away, . loved watching Marc and Blondie stumble through there hot steamy romance, . . Is the third book out yet! All the happiness! I love the suspense these books give me, Dillon and Marc are so entertaining together, Marc with his inept social graces and relationship experience and Dillion with his insecurities and inability to read Marc all that well, These two LITERALLY need to communicate to get what the other one is trying to convey,
In the first book it ended on a cliffhanger and we all wanted to throw our Kindles, and cry! Well, theres a bit of a cliffhanger on this one as well butttttttttt its not who you think who Yeah I said who! And Im thrilled about what bookwill bring.

SC Wynne made this book even better than bookand its reading like a suspenseful TV show! Her ability to introduce new characters, make us question each one and if they are trustworthy is great.
I love how I found myself saying, “Oh I want to like this person, Please dont make them a malicious assassin who wants to kill Marc and Dillions happiness, ” LOL
I really really loved this book and am eager for more!!!!
