Lopez liked hosting tea parties, with corpses as his guests, Daniel Camargo sought out virgins, and took both their virtues and their lives, Luis Garavito became sadistically violent after years of sexual abuse,
In Colombia in thes,s ands, these three monsters cut a swath of terror across a country already ravaged by poverty as well as the casualties of the regions powerful drug cartels.
The three are among the most prolific serial killers in the world, and incredibly are believed to be responsible for nearly, murders of young boys and girls whose positions
on the lower rungs of societys ladder made them especially vulnerable.
These true accounts of Colombias most sadistic of sex criminals reveal the awful price they forced the most innocent of victims to pay when their childhood betrayals turned to uncontrollable rage.
These chilling true crime stories are the stuff of nightmares, and if youre not left shattered by the sheer number of victims youll reel when you learn how little time these madmen served for destroying the lives of so many families already struggling with hardship.
Its a serial killer biography that will not only leave you stunned, but also wondering if the infamous Pedro Lopez released after serving less thanyears is still alive somewhere, holding macabre tea parties with his young victims.
Cheap hack job "book, " More like a somewhat long article, I bought it on amazon kindle, I'd watched a video doc on one of the killers and wanted to read more in depth, Turns out Rosewood copped much of his section on that killer directly from the doc, He covers two other notorious mass serial killers who killed in Colombia Brazil Ecuador and Peru, They are brief accounts which give you the bare facts, At the end is filler material advertising some of his other "books, " This author stinks, he's greedy, Oh well you have to feed yourself somehow, and maybe a family too, Here lately I have been coming across these for reviews, Such a disappointment when you expect more and there's not, Either the book was just thrown together to get one out or just not enough research done on the case to make a book.
Received for an honest review These stories are absolutely unbelievable,
Living in a small, calm neighborhood, it's hard to imagine how dangerous life in other places could be and how horrifying people can become.
The stories of these three serial killers are terrifying and even more so when I remember that they are real, and that so many people have lost their lives because of these torturous murderers.
This book was very interesting and eyeopening, a reminder that monsters among us continue to exist, Great book! Couldn't put it down! Very informative! Ive read/reviewed practically all of the books Jack Rosewood has written so far in his collection of books of serial killers weve had in this country and Ive found each one to be an interesting and informative reading experience reading the deprived and diabolic individuals which have existed here in the US.
And if you couldnt imagine that the fairer sex would have able been capable of committing not one, not two, but a series of heinous murders hes made sure to include one.
This author has now decided to set his sight internationally in order to illustrate that these maniacal individuals exist in the rest of the “civilized” world and has chosen to begin with three of the most infamous individual who all came from Colombia and who Mr.
Rosewood has correctly described as being monsters due to what theyve done to their victims, essentially all of them being children, as well as their sheer numbers: Luis Garavito, Daniel Camargo Barbosa, and Pedro Lopez.
Just read what the author wrote in the introduction to this book:
“The three men who have set records for their kills each targeted children, using various tricks to lure them away from safety, including candy, money, and various disguises.
And while it is unfathomable that together these three men are believed to be responsible for the deaths of more thanchildren, what is even more impossible to believe is that the punishments in no way fit their crimes
Each is the stuff of nightmares, and while Garavito is still behind bars and Barbosa is dead at the hands of a fellow prisoner, Lopez is free, his whereabouts unknown, making him a likely subject of many a horror story told round a campfire”
The stories of these three might be able to turn the stomachs of some readers who consider themselves psychologically strong enough to handle what I feel are extremely gory details of their actions.
As in the rest of the book hes written, the author has included information of the childhood background of his subjects which could have set the stage for their actions.
For having taken the time to collection the information needed to write this book, and for presenting it in an enjoyable reading manner Im giving this bookSTARS.
The best things in life are free, which is why I consider myself fortunate to have once again won a mobi.
file copy of this book through a giveaway the author had on LibraryThing, The above as always has been my honest opinion,
Excellent content, lacking tighter editing, Rosewood is a fine writer and researcher lacking a good team, Luis Alfredo Garavito Cubillos aka El Loco, Daniel Camargo Barbosa aka the Sadist of El Charquito amp Pedro Lopez aka Monster of the Andes.
Laws in foreign countries defiantly need changed,
The horrors of theseseriel killers will never be forgotten for generations to come,
Warning: This book contains extremely graphic adult content, violence, or expletive language amp/or uncensored sexually explicit material which is only suitable for mature readers.
It may be offensive to some readers,
I did not receive any type of compensation for reading amp reviewing this book, While I receive free books from publishers amp authors, I am under no obligation to write a positive review, only an honest one.
All thoughts amp opinions are entirely my own,
A very awesome book cover, great font amp writing style, Wow, a very well written true crime book, It was very easy for me to read/follow from start/finish amp never a dull moment, There were no grammar/typo errors, nor any repetitive or out of line sequence sentences, Lots of exciting scenarios, with several twists/turns amp a great set of unique characters to keep track of, This could also make another great true crime movie, a college PP presentation, or a mini TV series or even a documentary True Crime American Crime Story Investigative Discovery.
No references or works cited, Not enough detail for me on theseguys, Again only/stars.

I live in one of the most beautiful places in Florida, Jupiter, with my wife, two kids and our golden retriever, Vincent.
Ive been a full time author for the lastyears and I wouldnt trade it against anything in the world! My father was a journalist and wrote about some of the worst crimes you could ever imagine, and thats where my big interest from serial killers and other horrible crimes comes from.
Just to hear my father talk about the evil acts of Ted Bundy as we were out fishing as a kid are some of my best memories.
