Acquire Today Marriage, Sex And Family In Judaism Designed By Michael J. Broyde Published As Publication Copy
I thought this was a good collection overall, though some of the essays are misleadingly named I was researching modern fertility treatments, and one of the articles' titles seemed to be about that when it was actually about cloning.
That aside, this is a good intro to some of the major issues, both legal/ halakhic and cultural, that come up in Jewish marriage and family life.
I borrowed this for someone else and ended up thumbing through it, Interesting! Marriage, Sex and Family in Judaism explores Jewish marriage from historical and contemporary perspectives, focusing on the religious and legal concepts of marriage, and the social impact of family in the Jewish community.
The book does not advocate one perspective or another instead, the essays range from conservative to liberal viewpoints, offering readers a wellbalanced mixture of perspectives on Jewish marriage.
