enjoyed this book. I wasn't sure I would as I didn't like Matthew in a previous book, but he was better in his own book.
Priscilla was better in this book too, Felt a bit halfarsed. Obviously you know the good will end happily, the bad unhappily but there was never even a convincing hesitation on the path of true love.
Certainly no feeling that the bad things happening were any form of threat,

Gardens are strange places , one never knows what youll find in them , flowers ,trees , a wife,
Lord Mathew Chandler finds his best friend being set up for matrimony ,by said friends mother , and leaps in to save both him, from an unwanted marriage and the poor girl who will be ruined without it.

Though there are some things Priscilla needs to know ,
Hes no hero , everything he does is for his own gain.

Hes in debt , and he needs her dowry,
The only love in their marriage will be the pleasure of him loving her body, No feelings will be involved,
But hell provide her with all comforts and protection,
If she lies to him , he will leave and they wont get back together,
He earns his living hosting parties in their home , for members of society who leave a lot to be desired,

Hes got to be faithful, no mistresses
He must share her bed only,
Now thats settled its time to find the card sharks who drugged him and swindled him out of,pounds, He soon discovers he doesnt have to live his life alone anymore, and to catch the sharks he has a secret weapon , his wife.


This book had me from the first page , it drags you in and wont let go , the best ones always do.
I love Adeles books and cant wait to read more,
This is an adult read with hot bedroom /carriage scenes, But I believe its all done brilliantly, I challenge you not to fall for Mathew

Another great steamy romance by Adele, Loved this plot, the way the characters love grew, and when they worked together there love was proven, the epilogue left a lasting HEA ending, Definitely recommend. Good Finish to Fun Series

From the moment the character Matthew was introduced in book, I was hoping he would be one of the main characters.
When I realized it was with Priscilla also of book, I was more excited, Their characters were not overly unique, but still fun and I like how they play off of each other, I did wish there was a little more detail and build up, The story was not told badly, but it felt unnecessarily rushed, Once again, although it takes place in, the details are such that it really could be in any number of time periods and it would be the same story.
So if you want a historical romance that is full of historical details and events find another author, However, if you're looking for a fun , slightly steamy romance with a historical nod this book amp the whole series is a good choice.
Sigh! The story finished! How I wish it had carried on, It was so touching and a real pleasure to read,
Priscilla finds herself in a rather embarrassing situation and Matthew immediately comes to her rescue,
He can't promise to love her but but he offers to marry her, The one stipulation is that they both promise to be truthful to each other all the time no matter what,
It proves to be a very unusual situation but their lives, based on truth, seems to work out very well,
This is a page turner to beat all and I loved every single twist and turn and believe me, there were many! So much entertaining enjoyment in one book is hard to find, but this one has it all.

I highly recommend this book in particular as well as the rest of this series they really are "must reads"!

This was myrd favorite of the “Anything for Love” series, There was very little drama and almost no action in this book, Nothing much happened.

I did really like the characters Matthew and Priscilla but wish they could have had a little more plot, I enjoyed the way Priscilla teased Matthew then denied him, I thought it was clever and gave her the upper hand in a relationship where she could have easily been lost.
I thought the setting was very interesting and was excited to see how and when Matthew would reform his wild ways, His character reminded me a little bit of "The Great Gatsby" as did his wild parties,

His devotion to his marriage was endearing, and his protection of his wife was precious, I have read everything published by Adele Clee and one of my favorite things about her is her consistency, I think of herworks I've only given twostar ratings, The rest ares ors, So, if you liked this book I would look into more of her books, My favorite is "A Simple Case of Seduction, " WARNING: There is sex in this book, not overly explicit, but enough to be a steamy adult romance,/steaminess amp/explicitness.

I highly recommend this book, the last of the Anything for Love series, because the characters are so easy to fall in love with.
The struggles from their pasts turn out to not continue to be so life altering once Matthew is able to open his heart with fear of retribution or betrayal.
Fantastic humorous banter between Matthew and Priscilla will keep you amused through the book, This is a must read for sure, Do not miss this one! Miss Smythe and Tristan Morford have been tricked into a dark portion of the garden, Mr. Chandler, who is Lord Morford's friend agrees to marry Miss Priscilla Smythe and allows Lord Morford to marry the lady he loves.
Matthew does not trust people,
There are a few twists to the tale and a surprise or two, I read this in one sitting, a great book, The author wrote well, the characters are believable and the story moves smoothly, I really loved this, the way Priscilla and Matthew struggle to be honest with each other, and the banter with each other, helps this story seem real.
I highly recommend this book and hope I will get to read her other ones,

This was my favourite of the series, Priscilla and Matthew are a great pair and work well together, A great end to the series He promised his name and his protection but he never promised his love,

The characters, some actually are characters, but they appear full bodied and lively, There is some danger and intrigue, but there is some humor, also, The author has managed to make this an excellent story, I read it in one sitting and had a few laughs as well, I highly recommend this book and hope you enjoy it as much as I did,

After finishing bookof the Anything Bit Love Series, could not wait to read this story! It did not disappoint and in the authors consistent style pulls you right into the story.

Matthew Chandler, Tristans best friend comes to the rescue, He takes Tristans place and is found with Priscilla and commits to marrying her, Let the games begin! Matthew has never committed to anything, but demands certain expectations from Priscilla, Total honesty and fidelity which he commits to her, Having only presented the image of a resolute rake and running a side business of pleasure club, it really gets interesting to say the least! Prepare to be entertained and glued to the pages until the end.

Thoroughly enjoyed this series, Ms Clee manages to capture the characters and put them in the story in an intriguing way, The plots are page turners, So looking forward to more of her reads, I was looking forward to reading Chandler's story, He has been my favorite character from the very beginning, What can I say I do have a thing for bad boys, I couldn't wait to see how such a coldhearted cynical rogue can find love, Well, as expected, there was a true gentleman underneath that Idonotcare mask, And our heroine turned out to be quite devious in a good way, It was fun to watch H and h get closer by playing games, And even so there was no mystery to solve, taking down the villain was exciting and enjoyable, All in all this book was a great ending to a great series, Love it
