started this rainy afternoon unsure if I had read this book previously, After a quick reread, I am happy to say that I had previously read it and that it is still a wonderful read, I became quite invested in the other Ralston sisters as well as the colorful aunt and uncle, Amie and Cris may have had a tenuous lead up to their HEA but it was well worth it,

The mystery side plot got a little muddled midway through, but it works itself out towards the end, It's a cute rainy day read, Smut at the end. : Maybe a/but it just went off the rails, Very Laurenesque conflict: he wants safe, passion but not lovefilled marriage, she wants it all, The bits with the merchant uncle were fun, Lord Crispin Merrick and Amelia Ralston were childhood playmates innocents frolicking on the grounds of Hunterdon Estate, When Cris left home and headed off to school, young Amelia was devastated for
