It's fast paced with really downtoearth characters who enjoy each other's company more than they ever expected, Lots of flirting, laughs and just plain FUN! Really enjoyed it!

Good looking, hot, he has everything going for him in all departments, So when he came back to Austin for one of his sister's wedding, his family started pressuring him to settle down, After seeing christine at the wedding, he asked her to be his fake girlfriend to get his family off his back, Soon the fake girlfriend turned into fake fiancee and the line between fake and real is blurred after they started to spend time together.
Is he willing to give up his playboy ways and settle down with her

This is a sweet simple country love story.
Very quick read with no drama, But what is confusing is the fortune family saga, Their family tree is so confusing with all the illegitimates showing up on gavin father's side, that I dont even understand it, I guess you have to read all the books in the series to understand the family tree and the issues in this story, Like for eg. The reason why the real estate business is taking a beating is because of something or someone connected to the family, the arson at the robinsons house is also another issue that happen in this story but are loose ends because it was left unresolved.
So I have to read the other books to tie up all these loose ends and find out the answers, Sweet and romantic A Deal Made In Texas

The only problem is how right it feels to be with her, But hell have to settle for fake because hes not the long haul for love type,
Christine Briscoe has secretly crushed on Gavin for the entire time shes worked at his familys real estate business, but he just about blew her mind when he asked her to be his pretend bride to be.
Oh she said I do, even though she knows breaking up this pretend engagement will be hard to do,



Wonderful romance! Even if you don't keep up with all the Fortune books, you won't want to miss this one.
LOVED this story! Christine is sweet and easy to relate to, Gavin is a hottie and such a stand up guy, I thoroughly enjoyed watching them find love despite the obstacles in their way, Ms. Major has a cute premise but took it upnotches by adding emotional depth, witty banter, and so many heart tugs, You don't want to miss this one! Loved it!

I absolutely love reading relationships of convenience stories, and A Deal Made in Texas was no exception! Michelle Major pulled me into this story and made me feel like I was sitting there watching it unfold!

Gavin and Christine begin their "relationship" in hopes of getting Gavins family off of his back regarding his love life.
However, there are many twists and turns along the way to derail the original plan, Will hearts be broken forever

I did not read the Fortunes of Texas and had no issue following or enjoying this story, Gavin Fortunado, part of the Fortunes of Texas brood, found the perfect solution to get his family off his back about settling down, a fake fiancée.
The only problem is how he feels when they are together, but he is not the type to settle down, Christine Briscoe has secretly crushed on Gavin for the entire time shes worked at his familys real estate business, so when he asked her to be his pretend fiancée, she agrees, even though it will break her heart when it is over.


This is a sweet, romance, a fake fiancée to true love story, Both Christine and Gavin are likable characters who had me wanting them achieve their happily ever after, They were good for each other without a lot of angst, I enjoyed the dialogue and banter between the characters, This was an enjoyable story to listen to in an afternoon, Carly Robins is a narrator I have listened to before and enjoy her performances, Fourteencarat fortune

It's like a page ripped from her diary when Christine Briscoe finds herself dancing with Gavin Fortunado at his sister's wedding.
It's like a scene from her dreams when the flirtatious attorney asks her to be his pretend girlfriend, But there is nothing make believe about the sparks between the quiet office manager and the sexy Fortune scion, Considering Gavin's reputation, she might be heading for heartbreak, Or maybe, just maybe, straight down the aisle! a fun easy read I really enjoy reading about the many, many Fortunes as they appear.
Christine Briscoe and Gavin Fortunado have quite a story to tell, Try it, you just may like it, OhEmGee yall! My cheeks hurt from smiling so hard, This story is SO fun, so sweet, and an absolute must read, Its been a long time since Ive happy cried at an ending, . . this one totally did it for me!

Gavin Fortunado is a brilliant lawyer and part of the infamous Fortune family, He is also carefree and a risk taker, Christine, however is his complete opposite, Put them together at a wedding, a secret crush, and a meddling sister and you the makings of a great romance, I love how these two complete opposites find their way even with the trials that comes with it, I love a good friends to lovers story and this was a awesome one! Michelle Major again weaves her magic with a wonderful story.
Christine Briscoe has worked for the Fortunado family for aboutyears and has had a crush on Gavin for about that long! At his sister's wedding, they share a dance.
When she overhears one of his family members talking about setting him up with someone, she steps up and says they are dating, Well that's where the fun begins, With dating becoming engaged in no time, two people who were strangers start to get to know each other and they like each other! Gavin brings Christine out of her shell and she helps Gavin see what he could have it he would just open his eyes.
Everything was going great, until it wasn't! But how Gavin makes it all work out, well has everyone smiling! Michelle Major grew up in Ohio but dreamed of living in the mountains.
