Fetch Florence And The Mischievous Kitten Formulated By Megan Rix Presented As Copy
standalone book is the third in the series by award winning author Megan Rix about historical figures and their animals.
It follows on from Winston and the Marmalade Cat and Emmeline and the Plucky Pup, What is so appealing about this series is that readers experience high adventure stories about courageous and plucky animals while learning about true people from history and different historical eras.
Although targeted at the junior fiction market there is much appeal in these books for older readers as well.
In a similar vein to Michael Morpurgo, Megan Rix is very skilled at blending her stories with real historical events to make history accessible to children.
