I greatly enjoyed this book, a real page turner and a touching testimony to the healing powers of animals.


I recommend this to younger readers as well as adults, who will be rooting for Beth, Iris and Scamp.

Deserves an A Starts out well but then the plot is resolved quickly and the book continues to waffle for the second half.
