not further review given We use this book at my school and while I think the words are good, the pictures often are very far removed from the word/definition and some of them were sexist in a way that wasn't obvious enough to say something to my principal but I felt icky

showing them.
We started using this last year so we don't have any SAT data to consider thanks, COVID but hopefully they will help my students, Also it doesn't tell the part of speech It's a book that illustrates SAT words with a cute comic and words that go along to the picture to help you remember each one.
Often times the word itself will be split up into similar sounding words to help remember it, and some of the comics and wordnym things are quite silly!
I think it's an adorable, and cutesy way to learn vocab! It's not really effective, and when I was studying them, I did already know most of the words, but I do think it adds so fun into cramming.
I don't really learn well with these word remember things, but some might, The exercise sections are rather weak, and tend to stick with words in their own respective sections, not cumulative reviews like they should be, And the exercises are far too easy just a basic understanding of each word should be enough, guessing from a middle schooler could probably supply the right answer.

I think it's more like a novelty than a helpful study aide, really, I don't think I would spend money on it, but I'd check it out of a library! Good for some fun, but not for serious SAT students.
