Unfortunately, as most tricks do, this one goes very wrong and they end up with a dead body and she's got to help Mac solve the murder, It was a fun fast read and i enjoyed it, This was the first book I have read by her, It was good. Lots of twists and turns, It helps with the bampb owners being cops to help solve the mystery, I wonder if the bampb is actually haunted though,

This story was wonderfully engaging and the plot was a tough one to figure out, Fastpaced from the getgo with a healthy list of potential suspects, Great timing to come out at Halloween, Couldn't put it down! Loved it!

Another very entertaining reading by Wendy Meadows, The Inn keeps on being the grounds for sleuthing and also for incredible parties and foods with very interesting characters to keep the story going, Although the story is about finding out who commited a crime, its light, has a touch of humour and easy to read,

Halloween is here in Sweetfern and Brenda is planning the annual party at the BampB, Phyllis and Allie have taken over the decorations, They will have a house full of guest and every one wants to come to the party, They asked if the ghost was real and will it make an appearance, Brenda confessed she's never seen the ghost, She did plan to have William and Michael set up a fake ghost appearance,
The party is going well until a murder really happens, A person dressed as a ghost is the victim and has no identification on them, Now Mac and Brenda have to find out who and why he was killed,
The story went really fast for me, It had good flow to it so I didn't want to stop reading,

Halloween and do you really want to deal with a supposed ghost This is a mystery so there is a murder, Figure it out yourself.

I did but was tricked up by clue mid way through story, Trying to figure who did what was said, Tricked me until the reveal, Never even saw or thought of it, So simple!!! Nice job. I still had the culprit, just not the rest of it,

Fun, easy to read mystery, Great for rainy afternoon!!! Easily a standalone if need be, but go back and read and fall in love with the characters in the previous books,
