Maddox has been given custody of his sister's children after she was sentenced to prison and needs a livein nanny, But not like the last one that thought he was part of the job, Luckily, Finley was available and willing to take the job, Too bad she was so cute,

Ms. Baxter has written a charming addition to the series, Although this book is short it is well written with likable characters, smart dialogue, and an interesting plot, I enjoyed this book and recommend it to anyone who likes a quick but satisfying read with their glass of wine,

Finely goes to work for Maddox as his nanny, he is trying to get custody of his niece and nephew, his sister went to jail, Isabel and Sam help Maddox out by finding and interviewing Finely for the job, They meet Finely in the park and introduce themselves, They go over several things before she is official hired, The weeks go by and Finely doesnt see much of Maddox, he has a bye week so hes home, The doorbell rings and Finely finds a case worker from child protective services looking for Maddox, Finely knocks on his bedroom door but he doesnt answer so she goes in and

he naked, She tells him the case worker is here to see him, He tells her hell be out in a moment, Finely checks on the kids then Maddox ask her if he can have a word, He tells her to follow his lead, he introduces Finely as his fiancee, He tells the case worker this is all new, he hired Finely through an agency but when he saw her he knew she was his forever, They have a little problem with the children but Finely takes care of it, The case worker leaves and he tells Finely the need to talk, Maddox explains to Finely what is going on with him getting custody of the children, They talk about them being a couple she tells him no one would believe it, She tells him they dont match and he doesnt even like her, He tells her he does like her a lot, too much, He cant look at her because he wants to tell her how beautiful she is, He lifts her to the counter so they are eye to eye, He lowers his lips to her and swallows her sound of surprise, She pulls away because the children are calling her, All afternoon she cant stop thinking about the kiss, she is so distracted the children get finger paint on her, She goes to the laundry room to wash her clothes but finds Maddox there, He takes off her clothes and put them in the washer for her then carries her to his bed, He kisses and licks her neck then cups her breast pinching her nipples, He pushes her thighs open and tells her to spread her legs, He lightly kisses her legs up to her mound, His tongue swirls around and then presses inside her, he slides his finger in her, He crawls up her body and moves his body behind her then cuddles her in his arms, They fall to sleep cuddling each other, His parents show up and and take the kids, so Finley and Maddox have a weekend to themselves, He goes to find her in her bedroom and they talk about what is going on between them, She asks him if hell take her to bed, he picks her up and carries her to his room, She tells him shes never been with anyone but shes used toys, He kisses her and picks her up, her legs wrap around his waist, He lays her on the bed and moves his body over her and slowly pushes inside her, He buries his face in her neck and they both come, He tells her it was amazing and ask her if he hurt her, She tells him no it was incredible, They snuggle with each other, he ask her if she wants to nap or eat and she tells him eat, They go downstairs and Finley makes coffee and he gets muffins warmed, Finley gets a phone call and drops her hot coffee, Maddox picks her up and puts her on the counter, He picks up the phone and asks who it is, The woman on the other end explains she is Josie and she's pretty sure shes Finleys twin sister, They make arrangements to meet up later and Finley is in shock, Maddox ask her if shes okay and she tells him she thinks so, She starts to spiral and he stops her and tells her to take a shower and theyll figure it all out, He comes to let her know Josie is here and waiting to meet her, She asks him if hes okay with all of this and he tells her this is her home too, He asks her if she wants him to come with her and she tells him to stay with her, They meet Josie and her husband Chase and they are very similar, Josie tells Finley how they were separated at birth, They found Finley through a private investigator, They go out to dinner and shred contact information then they parted ways, They get home and Maddox tosses her over his shoulder and runs to his bedroom, He drops her onto his bed, and tell her he needs her naked, He undresses himself and asks her if she is sore, She tells him no and shes soaked, They fall onto bed together and explore each others bodies, The next several day move by in a blur, They got back on their schedules on how things were before they slept together, They all head to family night that the owners are hosting, The kids have on Maddox jersey, but Finley just in red to show her team spirit, They paid to have professional babysitter but Finley stays with the kids, Isabel tell her to come sit with her but she tells her shes okay, Isabel tells her to come save her so she follows her to her seat, Finley looks at all the people around her and she feels out of place, Finley sees an ad for Curves Connection and tells Isabel she has that on her phone, Isabel questions her about how things are going with Maddox, Finley tells her they come from different worlds and shes his nanny, Isabel tells her to finish her profile on the dating app if she doesnt thinks things are going anywhere with Maddox, Isabell asks Finley want she wants and tears flood her eyes, She realizes she just the nanny and he pursued her out of convenience, Finley asks if she can get the kids back to Maddoxs house, Shes going to go pack her things before he gets home, After the game Maddox finds out she packed her bags and left hes furious, Isabel tells Maddox he was being to dumb and slow he needed a push, She tells him shes in love with him and hes breaking her heart, He tells Isabel he loves her too, hes totally in love with her, Maddox asks her what to do so she tell him she helped Finley fill out a profile on a dating app, She suggest he fill one out to and get matched with Finley, Sam tells Isabel thats not a good plan, Maddox asks her what if they dont match, Isabel tells them both they know the owner of the app, Ezra, He could pull some strings to get them matched, He matches to Finley after Ezra interfered, He tells Finley to come home so they can talk, Twenty minutes later Finley uses her key to the door, he goes to pull her in his arms but she stops him, They go to the living room and she tells him she doesnt have a jersey with his name on it, He grabs the package and hands it to her, She finds a jersey he ordered for her and he tells her it didnt get there in time, He tells her he needs her and is crazy about her, She tells him she his nanny and he tells her there nothing that says they cant be together, He tells her he loves her and she tells him she loves him too, Three years later, they married a month after making their relationship official, They legally adopted the children, She is six months pregnant, They are headed to a game and the family box to watch Finleys sisters brother in law Brandon play, he took over the quarterback spot when Maddox retired last season and they won the Super Bowl.

Maddox gains an instant family but cannot fins the right nanny, At last, Finley comes into the job and exceeds where others failed, And that includes the relationship between these two, Finley tries to remain professional but when Maddox turns everything tops turvy by erasing the line that they werent supposed to cross, But they get things screwed up due to him being busy playing football, and she feels neglected, But with a little help from a friend, they are able to iron out the misunderstandings,

I enjoyed this story, I just felt like everything was too rushed for me, It was a short instalove/lust romance,

Maddox needed a nanny as he took over the responsibility of his sisters kids, He also needed the stability as the grandparents wanted custody of the kids, So he hired Finley. From the minute they met he was attracted to her, But he didnt want to go there because of the kids, But when the social worker shows up he immediately tells her that he and Finley fell in love and got engaged,

So I dont mind the story, I love single parent romances, But this one just fell a bit short for me, On the one hand I liked that Maddox wanted to help his sister and he took the kids and he was also scared they would be taken from him as the grandparents wanted custody.
But from the minute that was mentioned in the book it wasnt mentioned again, And then there was a weird side story about Finley finding her twin sister she didnt know she had, I dont have a problem with it, but it seemed like the author couldnt make up her mind about the grandparents angle or the twin sister angle, And then it was over before it started and Finley had a case of Maddox just wanting her for the kids sake

I dont know this was just too many things happening in a short story.
And everything was just too rushed for me, If you love older/younger romance and throw in some kids and these two definitely had some hot steamy moments then I guess this is for you, I just maybe wanted a bit more to the story,

Young, she is, Shes twentytwo, and shes already graduated with, a degree in early childhood development, She is about, to start her Masters degree, Glancing at the woman she looks, too young and too pretty, to know much about children, Immediately there is a squeeze, in his chest when he sees, her genuinely smile at, Libby, And when Tucker wants out of, Maddox's arms to run to, Finley and, Tucker slips, She drops down, to eye level, and puts a hand up, for a highfive, Saying, Hey little man, you run so fast, Tuckers chin quivers, and he looks at her, and her hand, “You were like a superhero, you moved so quickly, ” She narrows her eyes suspiciously, “Tell me the truth, are you Superman” He gives a toothy grin but, shakes his head, Then, he claps his tiny palm, against hers,

He needs her, to work out, Because their custody is now being contested, by their fathers parents, What works in her favor, right off the bat is, she has no clue who, Sam and, Maddox are, All she knows is, that they are professional athletes, Making her highly attractive, to him at that moment, Knowing the children's background didn't make her want, to mother him and the children, although he felt empathy from her, Football season is in full swing, With practice and games, hes not home much, While they are in the same room, he ignores her or he speaks, to her without looking her in the eye, Or he glares and growls his response, She doesn't understand, why he doesn't like her, He finds her irritating she believes, and she has the worst case of crushing on your boss ever,

When a CPS worker shows up unannounced, and, Finley goes looking for him only, to find him drying off, after a shower, He uses her being flustered as a way, to get her to help him, He tells the worker that they just got engaged, which is why there is no ring, This was a sexy enjoyable gapage story, They are in the same mind space mentally, Neither would be happy, with someone that is closer, to their age, as socially and economically fit, and one that is a social climber, Real is what they are about, A very enjoyable book. .
