She's gonna love it, After reading several of the Fancy Nancy books, I'm more and more not impressed with them as I was the first time I read them, But myyear old granddaughter enjoys me reading them to her so we will continue until we've read all the library has, . .

In this one Nancy and her friend Bree is getting ready for Valentines Day at school, Making homemade valentines and of course saying multiple big words that a young reader would have no way of knowing what it was, But in this story Nancy finds a Valentine on her bedroom and she plays detective to figure out who gave it to her which that part I did enjoy she shows thought process and thinks her way through who could have given it to her and then she starts finding clues.


One of the better Fancy Nancy books but still wasn't that impressed, What a cute valentines book, The pictures are great and it shows that a little sister loves her big sister, This book comes with stickers to decorate your own valentines for the kids to take to school, The color scheme in this books is mostly pink and red and the dog is dressed up like Cupid, Love this book. Unlike the original Fancy Nancy book and the Fancy Nancy easy readers, this book doesn't provide new vocabulary or "fancy" vocabulary that I've come to appreciate in her books.
This one is a pass unless your child wants it just for the stickers, By Maddie's standards, one can't go wrong with a Fancy Nancy book and how timely is Valentine's Day, She loved the story and we had fun discussing it, but the stickers were a little lame for Valentine's Day, Oh well, can't hit a home run every time and she did want the story read twice, which is the most important, Fancy Nancy is fun, but his is a poor bid to sell more books, it does no have the true flavor of the originals, A cute story about Nancy receiving a Valentine from her sister,
