Take Sophie The Awesome (Sophie, #1) Formulated By Lara Bergen Physical Book

the book, there are two friends called Sophie and Kate, My name is Kate, and my little sisters name is Sophie!
Cool right! This is the first book I bought, with my own money, from a booksale! It was onlyPHP which is approximatelyin USA.
I don't know why nobody picked it up or bought it first but I'm glad no one did because it's, . .

I think Ms, Bergen did an amazing job with the writing, I really felt like I was in middle school again, Although, I've never experienced what Sophia has gone through, I understood her, All in all, this was a very cool book, maybe even useful when I become a teacher appropriate for this grade level, :

I can't wait to find the sequel to this story, hopefully, I will try to get in on sale too!

Happy Reading! This is the first book in the sitelinkSophie series by sitelinkLara Bergen and sitelinkLaura Tallardy.
We discovered this series at our local library and our oldest was excited to find another series featuring third graders, The story is entertaining and Sophie seems to be an older version of sitelinkJunie B, Jones or sitelinkRamona,

Sophie decides that she wants to be 'Awesome' in this story and tries to find a way to make that come true, She's impulsive and doesn't always make the right choices, but she's basically a good kid and means well, We enjoyed reading this story together and look forward to reading the next book: sitelinkSophie the Hero, Sophie the Awesome is a great beginning chapter book AR level:,, Pts:.about a third grader, Sophie M, who is sick of just being another Sophie, She wants to be someone special, someone, . . awesome. Yet, what kind of trouble will she get herself into attempting to earn that title Is there anything she can do to be awesome that won't get her a dreaded consequence Read this book to find out.
This book would be great forstth graders, Not one of my favourite kids' books I've read, probably, but an okay, quick read that I'm sure a lot of those in the targeted age group would be entertained by.
Sophie, a third grader, doesn't feel special enough so she renames herself "Sophie the Awesome, " Unfortunately, her best friend Kate points out that with a name like that she really has to BE awesome, Sophie spends the rest of the day trying to show everyone how awesome she is, and of course every plan backfires, Transitional reader. Yay

I loved this book and not just because my name is the same as hers, I love it so much it is so good, I love the story plot and how the story starts and ends, I could never write a book like this, Took us a while to care enough to finish this book, but it's cute, I knew it was a keeper when I saw Sarah sitting around the house reading it!! Also caught her staying up reading at night, Learned from the best of 'em, hee hee I can't believe she's old enough for that, At least she hasn't learned yet to hide under the covers and read with a flashlight, Mom, did you know I did that and then pretended to sleep when you came to check on meI bet you did, Sophie The Awesome is by Lara Bergen, The Genre is Fiction,

Sophie millers life is boring, Average. She in not the oldest or youngest, the tallest or shortest, She is not even the only girl named Sophie! She knows she is special though, She comes up with the name Sophie the awesome, Living up to her dream wont be easy with toby around though, Can she prove ever one wrong When a little girl runs in the road Sophie to the rescue! Now people call her Sophie the Hero, One of the better chapter book series for girls that I have come across, I did find the main character a bit selfcentered and not always easy to like, Sophie is a well developed character third graders and younger will love, She feels ordinary, nothingspecial, boring and decides to rename herself, She thinks "Sophie the Awesome" will make it so, She realizes that you have to back up the name with deeds and has some funny excapdes trying to become awesome, I really like Sophie The Awesome because the author really expresses the characters, and gives me a picture in my mind, In the book, Sophie Miller is reading, and in all of these books, she finds everyone has an excellent name,
Nate the Great. Harriet the Spy. Ramona the Brave. Winnie the Pooh, Sophie thinks its about time she has a name like that!
I really like Sophie's character because she can change her emotions so quick, She reminds me of my sister, because when she wants something she does NOT give up on it,

I was surprised when Sophie chose the name Sophie the Awesome, because Sophie HERSELF doesn't think she is awesome by saying " My hair is boring, my name is boring, MY LIFE IS BORING!!!!!"
I think the author could've done a better job of putting in more of the characters quotes and less of her own.

It's story does miss out on details, and it could've been a lot longer than ninetynine pages,
Overall, this was a pretty good book and I would recommend it to kids of younger ages, :

This is a cute and funny account that takes place during one school day in the life of Sophie Miller, a third grader who decides she will be Sophie the Awesome.
She sets out to prove she is awesome and goes through several mishaps until something happens at the end
Take Sophie The Awesome (Sophie, #1) Formulated By Lara Bergen Physical Book
of her school day that not only proves it but also gives Sophie the idea for a new name!

Initially, myyearold daughter thought this book wouldnt be interesting, but after reading it together she said it was funny, with Sophie reminding her of a thirdgrade version of Junie B.
Jones, a rambunctious character in a series she loved when younger,

This is a fun, easytoread book, In a lighthearted way, it deals with school life, friendships, and trying to stand out, Comiclike and ageappropriate illustrations are interspersed throughout the story, The first in a series, this book is ideal for the funloving extrovert girl in your family who may also be a reluctant reader, An interesting exploration into what makes a person unique, Sophie reads about people with nicknames like Nate the Great, Ramona the Brave, Harriet the Spy, and she decides she needs a nickname of her own, After deciding she likes the sound of Sophie the Awesome, she then spends the day trying to BE awesome so she can live up to the nickname,

At the end, of course, Sophie does learn a lesson from her misadventures in awesomeness, . . sort of.

I think this would appeal to several of my students, especially as Sophie is their age and dealing with similar issues, We also spend a day giving ourselves nicknames during our unit on Vikings Erik the Red, Leif the Lucky so perhaps this could work in there also somehow, I really enjoyed this well written, entertaining, and real, Maybe more a. But after reading some poorly written kids books, this was refreshing, Sophie the awesome is about a girl who wanted a perfect name such as Nate the great, Ramona the brave, Harriet the spy, So she thought of Sophie the awesome, but if she was named after awesome, she had to show it, First she jumped down the stairs that did not prove anything, Then she carried four trays down the middle way that did not prove anything, Next she put as many fries as she could in her mouth that did not prove anything, Finally she tried to beat the school record for jumping roping that did not work, So then she saved a life, then she thought Sophie the HERO!!!!!! It was about a girl who wanted to have a nickname and she tried to be an awesome girl.
But instead she became a hero, She saved a little girl's life, The little girl was carrying Slinkys and she dropped them all, The little girl ran after them, but Sophie stopped her, A neighbor picked up the Slinkys from the road,

Sophie tried too hard to be awesome and she got less awesome and more boring, She accidentally told her frenemy the nickname came up with but it was supposed to be a secret,

I would like to read Sophie the Hero and see all the funny things she does, Sophie the Awesome
by Lara Bergen

Sophie is an average third grader trying to prove she is not just average, Through a series of five complications, Sophie fails to prove she is awesome, The major crisis comes when Sophie calls herself awesome and then expects to be ridiculed by her whole class, In the end, Sophie saves a younger child from being hit by a car, She doesnt set out to do this on purpose instead, she reacts instinctively when the little girl is in trouble,

The blackandwhite illustrations are modern and attractive,
this book is ok but I don't like it that much, I like to read it only if I have nothing else to read It's actually not that great, I mean there's not a lot to relate to, considering she's way younger than me, But even if I was her age and I still read this book, I still probably wouldn't like it cause it's not really interesting, But it's still well detailed and not everyone is the same so Sophie Miller wants to stand out, starting with her name, She doesn't want to be plain old Sophie, middle child and second Sophie in her class, She decides her new name is Sophie the Awesome, When her friend Kate says that Sophie needs something to be awesome at, Sophie starts trying to outdo other kids, Unfortunately, these attempts land in her trouble, such as when she tries to jump more stares than a former friend and loses hall privileges for her entire class, Trying to eat more french fries at a time than anyone else gets her a lecture from the principal, Trying to be more musical with rhythm instruments earns the class a silent time out,

This was a fast read for me and one that younger elementary girls could enjoy with Sophie's nature, Sweet very girly. Too young. Sophie feels like shes always stuck in the middle and average at everything, She wants a cool nickname like Nate the Great, or Ramona the Pest, so she decides to be Sophie the Awesome, She then spends her time trying to live up to the name by jumping down the most stairs, skipping rope the most times, or carrying the most lunch trays.
When she stops trying so hard to be awesome, her real awesomeness comes out, . .

I found Sophie to be really annoying with her awesomeness obsession, and not in a fun way, like Ramona or Clementine, There are so many realistic beginner chapters and this wouldnt be my first choice, Only if other choices are exhausted, Sophie the Awesome is the first book in the Sophie series, I think fans of Junie B, Jones and Judy Moody will also enjoy the Sophie series, Sophie gets herself in a lot of trouble as she tries to find a new nickname, Meet Sophie, a little girl with a big goal: to find the perfect title for herself, Look out here's Sophie the Awesome!

Sophie Miller's life is boring, Average. Blah. She's not the oldest or the youngest, the tallest or the shortest, She's not even the only Sophie in her thirdgrade class!

Sophie knows she's special, And she's come up with the perfect name to show it: Sophie the Awesome! But living up to her new name won't be easy especially if superannoying Toby Myers has anything to say about it.

Can Sophie prove her awesomeness, . . and prove everyone wrong.
