an underwhelming series of novels in comparison to Allison tbh, Lillia never really became likeable for me, sadly and Treize wasn't very likeable in this last novel imo.
Mostly because Treize didn't really know whether or not he liked Lillia, After

all the build up and interaction, it felt like none of the characters really grew as a person even though they've been made to go through all these cases and experiences.
It felt like they were just characters that acted out their roles and that's all, the characters weren't very engaging.


I'd like to say Wil and Allison made this more interesting but since the focus was on Lillia and Treize for obvious reasons, it didn't help much and I liked them in the Allison novels more anyway.
I guess these novels lacked the spirit of adventure and charm in their main characters that the Allison novels had a better portrayal of and so if I were to read these again, I'd probably only read the Allison novels again.
