J Vic. Torres is a lifesaver!
His genuine style of narration is a joy to read and the statement of facts is both surprising and in no way boring.
This is the work of someone who truly has the passion both for history and his university,
Though the dates of the events stated in each chapter leak into some of the other chapters sometimes not in succession and might confuse the reader, this is done so in good tasteso as to focus the spotlight on one of the many events and issues raised during the American colonial period in UST.
This book makes the reader wish that they had met Torres earlier in their academic life and had written their textbooks in history when they were in high school.
