Also,Annabeth,the daughter of Athena,needs to complete a quest alone. She needs to find the Athena Parthenon,that every chosen children of Athena died finding it and no one came back alive. But she needs to do it because it's the only way to heal the Roman and Greeks. Because they are enemies,but they need to combine forces to defeat the enemies. They succeeded,but Percy and Annabeth are thrown to Tartarus (unwillingly and accidentally) and they'll find the Doors of Death there. The rest,they are going to Espirus,where the House of Hades is located to rescue Percy and Annabeth and to find the Doors of Death also and if they found Percy and Annabeth, all together they're going to close the Doors of Death.

  hey, I have just written a review for the ouse of Hades yes, ik what ur thikingwhy have u written a review about the house of hades before this one (the mark of athena ; which i loved!!!) ??? If ur wondering what the house of hades post was about it was about Jason and Percy there personal fighting not norml! demi god life! The reason why i posted that one before this one is bc i just found out that can semd reviews amd post them for other people to see!!Anyway i would just like to say that Percies and Annabeths love is impecible when Annabeth is about to fall and make her way down to tartuarus *idk how to spell that*percy risks his LIFE just to be with her and make sure she isnt aloane!!!!   I finished Son of Neptune and The Lost Hero and found the third book on my More Like list. Last novel I was really happy to see Tyson again but he, and a couple original PJ characters (such as Rachel Elizabeth Dare the Oracle, Grover the satyr and Chiron the centaur trainer etc.) are now side characters.JASON GRACE, SON OF JUPITERSuuuuuuuuure, he's just a Roman demigod, but I'm not really fond of this guy. Ever since we were first introduced to him in The Lost Hero, I just felt like RR was trying to create a new Percy bond. One of the very few times Piper met her mother, she literally ignored her like she was a backup dancer in a show. Aside from that, I felt like Piper had to choose between

  Just when you think that the series can't get any better The Mark of Athena runs in. The whole book is just like the others, adventure after adventure, action after action but this one has an underlining quality of seriousness that brings the book to a whole new level. Not saying that the other two weren't serious but with this one you feel it . It is the middle book, the middle of the big quest and you can really feel the danger that is about to happen.I loved the fact that Annabeth and Percy were reunited, in fact I kept re reading that scene over and over again because it was just too perfect. Plus the whole group of demigods finally meeting and starting the quest was also perfect. I simply just loved it.All in all this book screamed intense action and perfect characters. It seemed to me that everything just clicked into place and we were finally seeing the dangers of what this quest and prophecy actually holds. It was just a brilliant book in a fantastic series.

  I really enjoy the Rick Riordan books, I've read all of the Percy Jackson series, and all up to present of the Heroes of Olympus series. This book, although not quite as entertaining action wise as the other books, it does give an insight into some of the other characters, and involves Annabeth . I've almost finished the book, within a couple of weeks, although I've made it last as previously I've read the previous books in the series in one goIf you are into Greek Mythology, or even if you aren't and want an entertaining book, I recommend this, and the other books in the series. They have all re ignited my interest in Gods and Monsters.UPDATE 30/01/2013: Just got around to finishing this book, and although I still think its brilliantly written, I wasn't keen on the ending it was only a "kind of" cliff hanger with not enough tension. The slight downside on the ending wasn't enough to knock it down a star though.
