Time Traveling to 1973: Celebrating a Special Year Reviews

I bought this to help with planning for my HS reunion, thinking there might be photos and anecdotes to help engage my fellow classmates on Facebook. At first I was disappointed the photos were small and B&W, but was pleased to see the purchase includes a link to the pdf where images are in color (when available). The book itself is nicely written and has already stirred up a few "I forgot about that!" moments.[Note to author, on pg 96, it's Chevrolet Corvette!]

I got this book to celebrate the 50th birthday of a good old friend. Before wrapping it, I must confess, I couldn't stop reading it! It's exactly what I love: a lot of culture in a few paragraphs. No boring readings, but you get the gist of everything that happened that year! Also, I found some tidbits that got me interested and, because of the book, I explored deeply into topics I hadn't even heard of before. Great (and light!) book.

This gift ended up being for everyone. It had so much information that we didn't even know, that it started a lot of "back in the day" conversations. So many memories were shared, so many laughs, and we got to know each other even . This book is great for socializing.

An excellent read for anyone interested in history and curious about the year 1973. The book is a time capsule that takes you on a journey back in time to the significant events that occurred in that year, including politics, entertainment, sports, and pop culture. If you are looking for a fun and informative read, this book is a great choice.

It's always a different gift when it's the year you were born, and this book delivers! It's short (thank God!) but gives you great information about almost any topic you can think of. Yes, it's not deep and extensive, but I bet that with this book, you will actually read it! You can skim it and get the feeling that you've read everything.
