This copy contains four plays, a general introduction and separate introductions for each play, Must for literature lovers Really enjoyed this collection of plays, Easily accessible translation, with “normal” language and very detailed, informative background notes, The notes on the different fragments and how everything hangs together were particularly helpful, Cant comment on the accuracy of the translations, as Im no classical scholar, However, from a lay perspective, this version of Prometheus Bound was as good as, if not better than, another expensive version on Kindle.
The Kindle formatting is not perfect, since the footnote references mess up the line spacing a single line might be at three different heights, but that should be easy to rectify in an updated version and does not detract too much from the quality of the book.
Id ask for a refund, Very frustrating to try to read Kindle version on IPad, The Play is in a digital insert from the text, Once one enters the digital window to read the text and clicks on notes the window brings the reader back to the beginning.
I chose the Penguin edition to read the annotations, What good are they if one has get frustrated going back to the beginning and scrolling through to look for one left off readingBuy book.
