Hoping her son works hard to change the course of his life for the betterment of his daughter, Mrs. Watkins explores the possibility of challenging Fredquishas custody of Myyah. But as she navigates the complex, red tape filled bureaucracy of child welfare services, Mrs. Watkins decides to take things in her own hand and is willing to put her life on the line for the salvation of her granddaughter.

This was the absolute WORST thing I’ve ever read in my life. It was like reading a looooong ghetto text message in PDF format. It’s like Tyler Perry meets R. Kelly’s Trapped in the closet but 100,000 worse. Poorly edited and poorly written is an understatement. I’ve read my share of ratchet literature but it least they edit it. I finished all 3 in about 4 hours a ridiculously childish read. It took four hours because I had to take breaks from the loss of brain cells that was occurring from the ignorance. He has the nerve to have 3 parts. I have Kindle Unlimited so thank God I didn’t spend a dime on this trash and that the titles are borrowed because I would not want to keep this forever. He really thought he was doing something. My 4 year old writes better than this. Abysmal. Anyone who enjoyed this is either a friend or family member or trash themselves. Don’t quit your day job Quan. But you know what, in this day and age where society is imploding, I wouldn’t be surprised if this ignorance found it’s way to the big screen. I would give this negative stars if I could.

This book stereotypes black people. I don't think the person writing these books is black. They're using black people for profits. Don't be fooled, people. All of his books are degrading to black women and men, mostly black women.

I was trying hard to like this book, but I could not. The authors attempts at being funny fell really flat and the story had no substance.I read ten pages and had to stop for my sanity.

I'm so happy I finally made it to the end of this boring book. The author switched from meaningless topics to topics. I'm so confused how and why this book basically started at the epilogue, the last chapter was the best, I hate i wasted.99 cent for this book.

So I was against reading any of his books from summaries I've read but decided to go ahead and read at least one so I know what I'm talking about. It was okay. Great storyline. The story is a good one. Im not gon lie, I teared up and all. The story was even relatable although it's fiction. What I didn't like was the way it was written. I respect not wanting to use the same words and phrases repeatedly, but some words used weren't in good context. It's like he reached for "big" words to use. One minute it seemed like someone was telling me a story then the next, I was in the story so that was kind of confusing too. My main turn off were the descriptions of the ppl. It's like he used the most racist or downtrodden descriptions for the characters. Most of the descriptions were basically put downs. From the mother character to just the description of the religions and the leads of them. It just seemed too harsh to me. Outside of that and the wild ass title, I wasn't disappointed that I took a chance on this book
