wasn't sure about the second book in the series and was worried that the third one would retread old ground and leave questions unanswered.
This book is SUPERB. It ties up nicely and is so well paced you may forget to put it down, It also makes bookreadable, The perfect summer read I'll miss Sam and Anson but I plan to come back to the books next year, Give time for the dust to settle, In the riveting conclusion of theMK trilogy, NY Times Bestseller Barker takes the thriller to an entirely new level.
Don't miss a single word of the series James Patterson called ingenious,
Hear No Evil
For Detective Sam Porter, the words Father, forgive me conjure memories long forgotten a past intentionally buried.
For Anson Bishop, these three words connect a childhood to the present as he unleashes a truth concealed for decades,
See No Evil

Do No Evil

Ingenious. Barker is a one of a kind writer and thats a rare and special thing, Dont miss anything J. D. writes.
James Patterson,Bestseller Asdraws to a close I must say that this trilogy by the ultra talented J D barker is my pick of the year.
I wish I could write a clever, meaningful review but I'm just a demanding reader not a writer, Barker imbues both plot and characters cloaked in many layers that gradually peal away into many things, most of which are unexpected.
I cannot recommend this series highly enough and fortunately there are books from Mr Barker to makea very enjoyable year for me.
Five are not a high enough rating, . try it!!!!! Hands down. Three of the best books I've read in years, I read a lot of books, so trust me, this is the REAL McCOY!!!! It's got it all cliffhangers, puzzles, bad cops, good cops, the indispensable IT wizard.
I read these books in a few gulps, Just brilliant. Read all three, as they do not stand alone! This is the third book in the series and has all the twists and turns as in the previous twothings you didn't see comingit keeps you guessingand turning pagesanother good read from a great authorth To Die was a good serial killer thriller, but the story concludes in a somewhat disappointing fashion.
The narrative becomes very involved, attempts to be complex simply by being confusing, and relies on suspense based on a willingness to discount facts established in the earlier novels.
It's well written, but tries to obfuscate by shifting narrative perspective and manipulating time lines which is really style over substance.
The first novel was marketed as 'A Detective Porter Thriller', this is an 'MKthriller' a change of perspective which is indicative of the narrative ambiguity.
