The main character does go through some major struggles, both in herself and with others, but I enjoyed the ending don't want to ruin it!, The one thing that I will mention that tripped me out is right at the end of the story, it says something like "to continue, go here>" and it points to a page at Alyson Belle's website.
It mentioned getting a free book or several free books and I thought to actually read the rest of the ending, I had to do a signup for a newsletter and get a free book or books to do so.
