I have to say, this book is an absolute delight. As a fan of the Eurovision Song Contest, I was thoroughly impressed by the level of detail, the author have done an incredible job of compiling a comprehensive history of the contest, covering everything from the very first competition in 1956 until present (although this book focuses on the UK, it also has a great overview of the contest as a whole)Another aspect of the book that I found particularly interesting was the background of the commentators and presenters of the Eurovision Song Contest, along with the a profile of the representing artist for each year Learning about their experiences and how they became involved with the competition added another layer of depth to the history of the event.Overall, I have to say that Eurovision Revisited is a must read for anyone who is a fan of the competition. The level of detail and research that went into this book is truly impressive, and it's clear that the author is passionate about the subject matter. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to learn about the Eurovision Song Contest and its rich history.
