    It does remind me of Clan of the Cave Bear but probably because I enjoyed them so much. Really enjoyed the introduction into this new world, and I will be buying the second in the series in the hope it keeps giving!

    This is somewhat different than what I normally read. Well written and had me totally engrossed straight from the beginning.

    I loved Jean Auel books about same period. Have only read the first one of these but intend to read the rest of the series. Good story line and gives out some information about this period in history. Doesn’t go into the depth that Auel,s books do but an enjoyable read.

    I loved The Forbidden. The characters were well developed and the story was gripping. It is written really beautifully with great descriptions and grammar. I can’t wait to read the next book I downloaded it straight away! My only suggestion; maybe a glossary could
