Like many other reviewers I don't find this as appealing as the initial trilogy. However it is very evocatively written , is warm in tone and had a good twist at the end. I have ordered the 5th book too.

An excellent final book to the Earthsea series. Gripping as the original and full of Ursula's challenging ideas and statements. Really enjoyed this book and finished it still pondering what I really thought on several issues raised.

A rather odd little bllk. Very thoughtful and introspective not at all what I expected. But, for all that, I couldn't put it down until I finished it!Such a good writer, and I am looking forward to reading the 5th book.

Again, I have been seduced by Le Guin's writing. Here, she has taken her original legend and looked again with the wisdom of maturity. There are harsher, human elements here realism, grit and therefore, the beauty in it shines out even . I am enjoying each of these books than the last.
