  This is a great book, a reclamation for women to restore own her ship of their own bodies. This book explains egos, how men and women differ and why women get upset by man's biology, as most mans sex drives are higher than women's, and their pleasure easier to find and use, there can be a jealousy and resentment in married life. If a woman owns her whole body and knows how it works, then she has liberated herself from codependency and outside sources of love, approval and validation. We sometimes see these women when we are very young and they seem to have it all, their walk their talk the way they command attention from all those around them. Men compete for her attentions. Instead of women competing to get the best male with her sisters. This is all discussed in this book and writer in a style that is easy and simple to conceptualise in our own lifes. To awaken to one's self for a women is to awaken all of her self. Then we stand in our power without fears or insecurities. yes we must teach our daughters that they are prey and should always have a close band of other girlfriends around for protection as men have less control over their nature than women, this is our power but also their failing, and many girls find this out by falling prey to abuse and the sweet talk of men after their prey. This book is the sort of book to buy for our daughters and unawakened friend that are in need of liberation. The time is now, much about the male dominated world is being exposed and coming into the light, how the world works by males for males and how women are turned upon themselves and loose out. This read is a must to arm ourselves with knowledge that we have forgotten or buried now is in desperate need of being aired, women all over the world are finding voice and now with social media we can share our stories, and empower others to also find voice.

  This book has some great chapters, and starts with some great well researched topics. Then the author seems to take a turn on the topic of marriage and fails to paint the whole picture of both sides of the argument. She seems to advocate commune living as the best form of a relationship set up. But fails to address the issues of such a lifestyle on the animosity and tension often created amongst the women and the children who share a partner and father in this set up. As well as the history of violence amongst unmarried single frustrated men. Who failed to find a partner before the institution of marriage of one man to one woman was instigated. Marriage is not for everyone and has its issues, but to throw the baby out with the bath water, with no analysis of pros and cons on both sides, is a little premature.

  Dr. Shefali !! Your book will cause destruction in this world. Especially if all women around the world understand your point, I wonder where the toxic patriarchy and men's dominance and ego stands !! This is an absolute truth and it is very hard and challenging to accept it. Good luck. I am enjoying my time with this book.

  After than 20 years of self doubt, self loathing etc..I have been given the knowledge and tools to break down past patterns and behaviours that have made me deeply unhappy..through this book Dr Shefali makes everything so clear, the what and most importantly the why!! I urge any woman to read this book..even if you feel you don’t need awakening..it will change you for the better every time. It truly is a masterpiece and a blueprint for living life! X

  I found the beginning of this book really good, but then it took a very different turn & it didn't resonate with me at all. Dr Shefali's perspectives were very different to what I have learnt on my journey with my 'Spiritual Guides'.
