He has performed on Broadway in Evita, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, Billy Elliot, The Little Mermaid, Curtains and The Secret Garden.Lyndy Franklin Smith is an Instructor in the Department of Theatre and Dance at University of Kentucky, Artistic Director of The Lexington Theatre Company, and a professional Director/Choreographer. She performed on Broadway in A Chorus Line and The Little Mermaid; Tours of Fosse and White Christmas and NYC's Radio City Christmas Spectacular.

Even if you never plan to or have any desire to swing, it offers insight and suggestions for anyone who performs, directs, or interacts with the theatre in any way. Even the casual theatergoer will find the information and the personal accounts included interesting it will give you a new appreciation for the work these folks do the next time you see a Broadway musical.

Absolutely fantastic book, with essential information. It's preparing me for a new job as a Swing on a Disney Cruise ship. Took quite a long time to arrive, however.
