Went to the Met and saw this exhibit. As a professional clockmaker, I’m certain they had to later clean my drool and fingerprints off the glass cases. Couldn’t *not* have this intriguing and comprehensive book which makes the collection come to life. Immediately purchased another for one of my mentors. If you love automata and horology, don’t miss the chance to be informed and entertained simultaneously.
