    I learned so much from this book I started making Nantucket baskets over 25 years ago and then stopped I started a few years ago making them again and knew I needed to up my game This book is chock full of great info that I will incorporate into my repertoire Great for the new basket maker and the semi pro So glad I purchased it

    This is an excellent reference book with lots of pictures The back cover says it has over 250 photos and I believe it It is great for both beginning weavers and advanced weavers With chapters like Steps for Making a Nantucket Basket to chapters on Rimsand Finishing the Nantucket Basket this book has something for everyone I have already bookmarked the chapters on Rims and Handles There are also plenty of helpful Tips throughout the book This is my new favorite reference book

    I was excited about getting this book because the cover photo showed baskets made with a variety of different weaves and color combinations I have been weaving Nantuckets for several years and am ready to introduce some new elements into my baskets While this is an excellent book on how to make a standard one color flat weave basket there is no information how to vary weave or add color I wish I had understood this from the book description but somehow I missed it I am returning the book to and will continue to look for other sources
