    I live in the UK and had seen this book in a National Trust gift shop near my home. However, my grandchildren live in Australia so I arranged to have it sent direct to them via their mother. Her verdict Its gorgeous! The children wont see it until Santa Claus

    i love the nightly tradition of reading each day’s poem with my son. this is a book that will grow with him.

    I bought this book as a christmas gift for my 6 year old grandson as it was recommended for children, however on opening the delivery I am very disappointed, whilst the illustrations are very good some of the so called poems are not poems and only have 9 or 10 words. I shall give him the book just the same but as a picture book than a poetry book. Would not recomend it for a young child at all.

    Klar, in dem Werk sind lauter Texte die als Kulturgut gelten gesammelt.Aber das sich ein Verlag die Mühe macht und dieses Format in Sachen noch in einer Auflage rausbringt, deren Layout und Zeichenstil alles andere in den Schatten stellt Respekt.Ich behaupte für 20€ bekommt man nirgendwo ein gebundenes Buch in diesem großen Format, welches so unglaublich schöne Zeichnungen in so kräftigen Farben auf so vielen Seiten bietet.
