Doesnt read like a webnovel. Very well paced and thought out storyline. Couldnt put it down. Has its own originality and worth reading. Fun, exciting and with hints of better things to come.

I had a good time with this book, devoured it in one day, its not short.I would recommend this novel to anyone already a fan of wuxia or cultivation stories, I am not sure how easy it would be to get into for people unfamiliar with the genre.

The great thing about wuxia is that there are always powerful opponents to challenge you. If done right, there is never a chance of the MC getting overpowered like in so much fantasy these days. This book is a pretty good example with plenty of interesting character

Well worth the read. Translation is good, Story is great, Great characters and world building. Cant wait for 2nd book to hit :D

So the narrative follows cheesy martial arts conceptual cultivator mechanics Similar in some ways to the cradle. The concept is interesting but the author has focused on surreal martial arts and winner loser extremes. I didnt laugh or even smile in any of

Der Anfang einer Saga die sehr gut aussieht. Freue mich auf die nächsten Teile und bin gespannt wie es weiter geht.

I love Wuxia. It is a genre where one can expect everything and anything. Distance is measured in millions of kilometers instead of, oh well, kilometers and mountains are sky high literally. Chinese/korean Wuxia is full of hey you brat, kowtow before our master; master teach me! he slashed his sword and flattened 10000 square km and killed millions innocent bystanders.. and you can find every pill possible, something like effervescent medicinal pill of supreme conjugals anything. Cultivation is the primary goal of life and most people are mean. Yes, I do realize that there are huge culturual differences (and lost in translation) and such books cater to a different audience.Western Wuxia puts emphasis on a story and less on the cultivation elements. It is domesticated.. so to speak.I love both. This russian gem is different as well. Story flows/reads almost poetically (that is the russian for you i guess). Hadjar (MC) is twice (technically) re born. First 1/3 of the first book is basically a long prologue and sets up the main stage (which is very unconventional for a book). Once that is done.. Hadjar bleeds, sweats, fights and kicks ass. There is cultivation, there are ancient beasts, spiritual weapons and there is death on a massive scale. Get the best wuxia elements, get rid of the bad wuxia elements.. distill.. and you get this book (or books). Just keep in mind that one book is not enough to sample the story. Wuxia is known to be loooong. I waited several months for all 3 books to be translated until I started reading and while I realize that not everyone can pre order books on such scale, this is basically and indie bussiness so one has to make allowances.I am not a native english speaker. And I started learning russian just to be able to appreciate this story. I just wished the author wrote in both languages simultaneously ;).

Ive always loved Fantasy and sci fi novels and in the last year got into reading a variety of mangas/manwhas etc and only recently after that have I discovered LitRPG.This is by far one of my most favourite reads to date. Not just in this sub genre but EVER.The reincarnation storyline is one that Ive seen used quite a bit in mangas etc and can be rather typical in Wuxia stories but the way this author used the idea was very different and drew me in from the start. For about the first 30% of the book I was completely drawn in and wasnt sure where it was going or how we were going to get to the devastating beginning of this tragically heroic characters transformation with the introduction but my goodness did we get there. After suffering untold tragedy and pain that would break most people our MC has a will unlike any other we rage for the injustice and suffering he faces and cheer him on as he begins to grow in a magnificent way.The drama and battles are absolutly thrilling and the characters are all well rounded and either brilliant or loathsome and I am extremely excited to see how this absolutely monstrously sized world is revealed to us in the next few books.I absolutely loved how this was written and I cannot wait for the next book. Its not often I pre order but Ive hit One Click and I cannot wait. I am so glad I stumbled across this sub genre and this amazing author. I had no idea what I was missing out on.Absolutely amazing and I cannot recommend this enough.

Great story, action throughout even when MC is a the very bottom (inprisonned, mutilated, enslaved). I like very much a MC with strong will and stone hard acharnment. Book one has all black and white vision of the world like a child would while book two continues on a path that becomes grayer of a adult responsible of other and the need to compromise arrives. I like the fact that his mind never broke event through all the misery he lived through before resuming his journey to cultivation. Thanks and good work!
