is like a college course book, difficult to find the basic information that I am interested in A quick and concise reference, Bought several years ago and still have it on hand for reference, I expected from an Audel's guide but in retrospect, this is as much as could be expected on a simple subject, It is a good guide and worth having if you are interested in being responsible for your own well, The author has obvious experience and knowledge, BUT, oddly, so much was left out which could have been included and not take up too much space, For example, no mention was made of PVC or CPVC for well casings and system plumbing astounding! Also, water storage Limited pretty much to water pumps used in Northeast, Here in North Florida, the wells and pumps I have as well as my neighbors are not covered, For anyone that has a well or spring system to get their water using a pump this is a great reference book, I grew up on a farm in the's and's and we had a well and spring to get our water where you had to relay on a pump to get the water in the house, I wish that I've just had this book for a day, but I already appreciate the depth and breadth of the information.
