Great Grand Children's ages aremonth's,years,years andyears : Childrens' attention span is so short and my concern is the pictures are not big enough, The pages are/th picture and/words, Don't see how it can capture a child's attention, The reader of these stories needs to be very animated and geared to teaching children to keep them interested, i was a bit disappointed when I got the book, Sorry. One of the best children's Bibles out there, There are hundreds of children's Bibles but this one remains a classic, Good storytelling, simple words and goes through all the major events in the Bible, We read this every evening with ouryear old daughter and she loves it, Great pictures and large text which doesn't mean shorter story, Most stories are one two, maximum three pages long, Same Bible I read as a child, albeit an older edition with 'abstract' illustrations, This is an amazing

This one is okay I guess I grew up on the Children's Bible by Anne De Vriesedition, and I'm so glad to see that it's been republished! She makes the stories so understandable.
She's sympathetic and empathetic and helps young children see the reasons people acted the way they did, why God said things and how he must have felt, and why events happened.
This is a nice long Bible, with chapter breaks at good intervals for bedtime reading, My mom read to us from it before bed starting when I was aboutand my sistersand, After several weeks she would finish it, and move on to another book, After that book, she would ask us what we wanted to read next, Many times we asked for this Children's Bible, and she would start it again, I can't imagine a better one for kids, As far as story Bibles go, this is excellent for theyear old children, Sometimes we could not read a whole chapter at one sitting, but otherwise as a family we are really happy with it,.shipping.
