I found the book as not only opening up my horizons, but also expanding the depth of my enquiry into what makes us who we are, and answering the bigger question of why we are who we are and the bigger “Why?” of existence. I found it even interesting given that the

As an entrepreneur in Silicon Valley, I'm surrounded daily by right brained, logical individuals such as software engineers, and other entrepreneurs and investors focused on the bottom line. Even though I've had some inclinations towards spirituality, I was told that it

The information given in this book is the same as from other books I've read, particularly the Jane Roberts SETH books and A New Earth by Echhart Tolle. Like Tolle, author Rizwan Virk doesn't acknowledge any source other than Zen Buddhism and the knowledge that comes with

Zen Entrepreneurship is a must read for entrepreneurs and anyone wanting to integrate their business/career and spiritual paths. I wish I had read it 10 years ago! I am 100% certain that it would have had a positive impact on my previous ventures. But, better late than

Enjoyed the journey, thought it was fun and there were some nice moments and great insights. Quite honest as well. Just left me a bit flat at the end, sort of abrupt ending, story kind of dies Thought the dream parts were a bit too far in a book like this.

I loved this book. I'm reading it a second time right now. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I have always been drawn towards meditation and spiritual awareness. I'm also a big proponent of small business entrepreneurship. Until I read this book, I thought these two aspects of life were totally

Riz has exposed in this book just how hard it is to balance business and Zen or any other spritual practice.I have been in business 55 years and all five of my businesses were start ups three failed and two made it.If I had read this book 55 years ago I think I would have

I liked how the author used his own experience to deliver key messages about how energy works in practice.

This book was recommended to me by a rather spiritual person. I wouldn't consider myself to fall into the same category.Still, thanks to the way the author was interweaving the story of him starting his business with his spiritual awakening, I found it to be a very enjoyable read. There are enough lessons to be learned while carefully reading this book e. g. why a product focused company can expand easily compared to a service focused company. Therefore, I can definitely recommend it, even though I would only call myself slightly spiritual after reading all of it. At the end of the day, it doesn't really matter whether you're "looking for clues" or "trusting your inspiration" / "listening to your gut feeling" it is, or less, the exact same thing. But this book can certainly help you to arrive at this important realization.

I found Riz's book at the perfect moment; I've just launched my new business and somehow not entirely consciously found Zen Entrepreneurship. I felt compelled to buy it, to read itand when I did I was reading stuff I'd thought about and felt and meditated about for years it all just clicked and resonated with me on a very deep level. If you have the intent to lead a mindful life and you're in business, this is a book you should read. But trust your processif you're moved to even read this review then take that as a clue that you should read this book; if you're even considering it then the time is ripening for you. (And as I write this, remembering what the book says about times of power, I realise it's the summer solstice!)
