terrifying, heartbreaking story of interviews with women in Juarez about their fear of leaving the house, going to work, walking down the street, Almost unbearable: she listed the toddlers to elderly women who were raped, murdered, mutilated, A tremendously hard read. Loved the play and love the audible! Every time I hear the audible I can feel every moment of the play, It is a very sad one, but a real situation that we cant close our eyes or look the other way, It does have some funny moments, like to let go of the pressure of the Audiobook: Narrator Kate de Castillo Unable to decipher when it was a male or female speaking.
Some of the characters were a bit easier to distinguish but not all, This performance was a bit confusing and I dont know if its the actual story, or the Imagine living with a fear so visceral each day that simply walking down the street
draws terror to ones core.
