author admitted that hisyear old read the book, I should have stopped there, I enjoyed this story. It ended quite abruptly but I will continue to the sequel, Stories of slaves fascinate me, I just cant imagine how terrible it was for most, I really enjoyed this book, But it just up and ended, like turn the page and the end I was like what happened, it was just getting really good ! Great storyNot too longEasy to readI enjoyed the story lineLooking forward to to the other books I thoroughly enjoyed this read.
It was a delight to read, It was a feel good, I would thoroughly recommend reading this, I enjoyed this tale of love and kindness, It was nice to see enslaved people being victorious over there captors, I applaud your dedication to realistic accounting of slavery, As the masses try to water down our history our children need to know what really happened, Only through truth and factual history can this country truly heal I enjoyed reading this book, It shows a different side of how slaves were treated, Some masters were definitely cruel and horrible, The girl Darkness was sold to kind people and found love, A very fast read. Darkness: A Slaves Story is a fictionalized account of not just one slaves life, but the tribulations and misery of many American slaves.
