Wonderfully engaging and interactive. ― Gemma, Metcalfe Beckers, The Mutha.HoodThe Big Steps books are a great way of introducing children to different life skills and building their confidence and familiarity with doing them. Watching characters their own age experience different things goes a long way in letting children know that they are normal, healthy and not scary. The children enjoyed pointing to the different pictures, opening flaps and naming objects, which is fantastic for helping to build their vocabulary and prepare them for learning to read. The book is also sturdy enough for enthusiastic hands. Our testers found the little tips at the bottom of the page useful and in one case, they helped to transform a reluctant dresser into someone who is happy to get dressed most mornings! Dr Amanda Gummer ― Dr Gummer's Good Play GuideCampbell Books has come up with a range of books to help your little one tackle the milestones of growing up. It’s Big Steps series covers topics such as sleep and fussy eating and of course, in No More Nappies, potty training. Featuring the super cute Millie and Mo each page follows their progress as they journey out of nappies. It’s a very hands on board book so little ones can get involved and there are plenty of pockets and gadgets to keep them interested and maybe spark their enthusiasm for the task Made For Mums

My little boys loves this book. He went from sitting on his potty for just a few seconds, to sitting on it for a few minute within the third time of reading this book x it has a boy and girl in it, so it is great for both genders. The wording in the book is great and my little boy loves to follow it along. It also shows having an accident with a piece of card you pull down. After reading this bit with him, he then said oh no when he had a accident himself. There is also a parts of the book that you spin they are brilliant. He really loves the part with the singing in it x I made a potty song up to go with this part and he joins in. A great buy and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is going through potty training.

This is the first and only book I bought to help potty train my two year old daughter, before this book she wouldn’t even sit on the potty but now is happily on her route to being fully potty trained. The illustrations are lovely and bright, the storyline is very basic and easy to remember for your child to relay back to you and the flaps get your child involved with reading and offer a distraction whilst sat on their potty. There’s a part where the little boy has an accident on the floor and now my daughter tells me if she’s had an accident too, so beneficial to teach children that accidents are going to happen. Also the addition of little tips for parents on each page is helpful.Definitely recommend!

I have literally just received 'no nappies' board book and had to write this review without hesitation. As soon as I opened the package my 23 month old was reaching for this book straight away, we sat down and began to read it, which didn't take than a few minutes as it's only 10 pages, we then read it a second time, playing with the flaps and turn dial, and immediately after my toddler began pulling at his bottoms and nappy to come off and I honestly couldn't believe it! we have a potty already floating around downstairs, so he went and found it and did his very first wee wee! Well, to say I am impressed is an understatement ! When I opened the package and saw the book I was slightly disappointed, I genuinely thought with reading the short sentences he wouldn't have paid much attention yet he had so much understanding straight away and just did what Millie and Mo did in the book. I'd never have thought something so simple, the book being short and not many wordings, would have had such a quick reaction. I'm honestly amazed and surprised and had to shout about it. I totally recommend it for any young ones and parents/carers starting their toilet training journey. There is some simple directions at the bottom of every page for us grown ups and each page is colourful yet simple, the flaps and turning dial keeps the little ones curiosity and I found reading it over enthusiastically helps them also. I'm now hoping it's something he goes back to and it helps encourage him to go potty again and again.

Only 5 pages. Very directional. Not much to it and no story to entertain my toddler. The only part she enjoyed was the one moving part to pull Mo's nappy down which she broke within a couple of days with her enthusiasm. Personally I found it incredibly boring, like a very brief instruction manual. Each page has a useful single sentence potty training tip for parents but that's not really what I'm looking for in a children's book. Not sure why this is so popular to be honest. There must be something entertaining out there. Two stars because the book is very sturdy and well made even though my toddler broke it almost immediately. That's toddlers for you.

This book arrived today and my daughter and I have already read it three times. She’s 20 months old so I plan on potty training this month as she’s showing the typical signs that she’s ready for the challenge (pooing in The “privacy” of another room or hiding behind the curtain, grabbing at her nappy when she’s messed it etc) But I wanted a book to show her via a story and pictures as she loves books. This book delivers exactly that A short, sweet story about two little humans learning how to use the potty and toilet. The fact that it’s interactive with little flaps and so on to pull down or reveal things makes it even engaging and fun.I know that reading to her every day will help us when starting the potty training process at the end of the month. I’ll update this review once I do to let you know how it goes!P.s everyone that gave this book a poor review are either loco or plain miserable as I can’t see how this book will fail to help any child 0 3 years old. Buy it and see for yourselfUPDATE: Bought this book around Oct 2020, started potty training New Year’s Day 2021, my daughter was out of nappies and using the potty fully within a month, and I’m still certain this booked helped with it all 🙂
