  Pros: 6 yr old loves it and will read it independently some of it is pretty funny good quality edition doesn’t make my son cry like the Tale of Two Kitties does with that abandonment sceneCons: we know that kids love jokes about poo etc but there was too much vomiting in this book, even my son thought it was yuk, he skips those pages now. as with the other dogman books there are many spelling mistakes, I think they’re supposed to be cute but for a 6 yr old just getting to grips with spelling they are confusing and teach him mistakes (eg he now writes super as supa because dogman does). Not helpful. a LOT of jokes and characters are repeated from other books, felt like authors might be running out of inspiration

  My nine year old daughter absolutely loves these books. She laughs and reads them over and over to the point I have to take them off her otherwise she'll stay up all night reading them and I understand why. They're very colour, very funny and interactive books that aren't an eye sore to read. My daughter cannot wait for the next one to come out xx

  More like a comic book, lots of pictures, very good for my son who doesn't like reading, but he was very into this book and read it within a few days. He has read all 6 books in less than two weeks

  This whole series and have me pre order each book as they come out because they cannot wait a minute longer. The full colour pictures keep them interested and the text is nice and easy to read

  My son loves dog man and this one was very good. These are brilliant for reluctant readers. My son read it all in one sitting, he is 7 years old.
