The Cookie and Biscuit Bible Reviews
-
It lost a star for comparing itself figuratively to the Tannakh. Other than that, this is my handy manual for all those cookies, muffins and scones my grandchildren want their Granny to make them. I know of few problems in life that cannot be solved with a good cookie and a cup of coffee. And if not solved, well at least a taste of something yummy can go a long way towards being a pleasant, brief reprieve from problems.
I love to love my loved ones with FOOD! There is nothing quite so wonderful as hearing nummy-nummy sounds and seeing dreamy, happy, sunshiny eyes as my family members nosh, dine, and slurp their way to closeness and happiness.
Is there anyone who doesn't love a good cookie? I mean, really? -
This is one of my favorite cookbooks. I loved all the different kinds of cookies, brownies, bars, and muffins. Each recipe has a yummy picture to show what the outcome should look like. The only thing I found a little annoying with this cookbook was the way they stated some measurements of some ingredients was confusing. Also, the print is very small which made it hard to use in the kitchen. I usually ended up having to rewrite the recipe on a piece of paper because of this. Other than these two little things, I really love this book!

Most of the recipes have pictures, which is a must for me when I buy cookbooks. I love going through it and sticking in little Post-It-Tabs to note what I've tried and what I want to try next.
