Grab Peculiar, INC (The Charismatic Chronicles, #1) Drafted By C.S.R. Calloway Viewable As Hardcover
reread this book, I'm more convinced that it expresses so many of the things I intended it to, I hope it touches you all and that you stay buckled in for the entire ride! Kimberly Kim Lee Hamilton family consists of: Delia Hamilton mother, Dr, Lester Hamilton father, amp Antonio Hamilton,
Her close friends are: Justin Alexander, Shen Long Ezekiel Yang, Coda Crenshaw Cheshire cheetah, amp Rico Enrique Gutierrez midshipman, Annapolis naval academy,
Kimberly Kim, Wilbanks Hamilton is later killed in a car accident amp comes back to life,
After graduating HS in a town in Brunswick, GA, Kim hopes her future will be brighter in Atlanta, Torn between life amp eternity she accepts Gods offer to continue her life on earth,
Kim seems to have unique powers, good/bad evil amp mysterious as do some of her friends Leviathan amp other PPL Solitaire, Hearts, Creature, Hollow,
Kim Skyborder/friends design/implement a skyboard amp decide to fly over the skies of Annapolis to discover for their selves what it means to be blessed, cursed, or even a little different Peculiar.
Awesome book cover, great font amp writing style, This is a kinda paranormal or scifi book filled with suspense amp mystery, amp lots of twists/turns, Even a religious/biblical
overtone, Fairly easy to read/follow, several dull moments, Not sure I got the whole story content completely, The book is filled with an overabundance of H, S. /college reminiscing. I will consider this filler, Other words it could have been less written pages, A great but huge set of characters to try amp follow, No grammar errors or out of line story sequence, Great teen book Im sure, This would make a great scifi movie or a mini TV series, Im well aware you are quite the writer, but truthfully I dont think I understood this whole story content, That all said I can only rate the book at/stars,
Thank you for the free book Goodreads

I do wish there was a blur advising it would be a very religious book,
Never mind that INC can actual stand for "In the Name of Christ" as I thought it was "incorporated", I read it in hope that the novel would a good superhero story, Action did not even start until after aboutpages, Type of powers was hinted earlier, but the story just seem to be too slow for my taste, I really did not care much for reading scripts and discussions of religion,
I can see how this would be excellent novel for people who wants superhero themed with Christianity underlined, Sadly just before Chapter, I just walked away from the book, Slow start, surprising amount of unexpected religious, little showing of superpowers, and a couple of actions was not for me,
Word of advise, change the blurb or at least make clear that INC is not INC, and the theme of the book is Christianitylargely serious toned Superhero, A very slow cooking novel as well, Peculiar, INC certainly left me with some mixed feelings, I had a long debate over whether to rate itorstars, obviously in the end I went with, but if I could I would have given it,.
The book is VERY religious, which is fine if that's what you were expecting, There was nothing in neither title nor blurb that indicated to me at least how centralised around religion this book would be, I didn't realise that "INC" stands for, "In the name of Christ", not an abbreviation for "Incorporation" as I originally assumed, Whoops.
However, despite my initial shock due to perhaps my mistake of underestimating the religious influence in the book and a few spelling errors scattered throughout the book, I did in fact enjoy it.
Throughout the progress of the character's journey I grew to love them, Kim, Justus, Coda, Ezekiel, Maya, Eden, Terry, Renata and Rico unitedly create a unique and intriguing world, There's some seriously awesome action scenes in the book and the spiritual gifts of each character are really cool personally, my favourites were Justus and Ezekiel, Half way through the book I was still questioning what exactly was going to happen, it seemed to just be following the lives of the graduates and what their powers brought to them.
More importantly, I was going, what does Patricia have to do with this But all revealed itself in time, I couldn't work out for the life of me exactly where Solitaire and Hollow fitted into the picture either, But hey, I soldiered on, assuming everything would reveal its purpose in its own time, And boy was I right, I really want to praise Calloway for some AWESOME plot twists the revealing of Solitaire's and Hollow's true identities! Wow, dude, seriously cool, Did NOT see that one coming,
On another level, you don't need to have a strong religious base to understand the book, but I certainly would say it's more enjoyable if you do, Being Catholic, I found the religious influence in the book superb, The way Calloway has taken his own concepts about God and the ways of The Lord, and put it into words, was poetic to say the least, I really enjoyed those moments when the characters describe their stance when it comes to faith it really makes you look at things differently, allowing you to put some great descriptions to your own beliefs, even.
Overall, I did enjoy the book, It may not be the best book I've ever read, but the action combined with the faithentrenched moments was a great combination, Chance Sion Raize Calloway is a prolific writer across a multitude of mediums and genres, Best known as creator and showrunner of the award winning series Pretty Dudes, Calloway currently lives in Los Angeles with his Venus flytraps Betsy, Bootsie, and Itsy Bitsy.
